Abortion has been an ongoing controversial topic for over a decade and majority ethical or political debates begin and ultimately cease with the ruling that was made in the Roe vs Wade trial. The Supreme Court trial did not arise overnight, the difficulty being faced with abortion had started long ago and the Roe vs Wade trial was the final stepping stone into the exploration of the world and substantially the United States with the views of the citizens. The United States is highly affect by the Roe vs Wade trial which is solely surrounded by the controversial topic of the right to abortion. The medical development of the procedure for abortion would not be as innovative and safe as it is today with out the ruling of the trial. This trial has cultivated debates making judgment about a persons morals, at times people are judged upon by others depending on their personal views of abortion. Moreover several topics have turned out to be related to abortion which were brought up after the Roe vs Wade debate. For example the expansion of women’s rights is an effect of this trial, without the Roe vs Wade trial the women’s rights activist that stand for the right of every individual women and her body that inspired so many have been completely different. Due to the fact Women’s Rights was a well known topic in the 1970’s the ruling of the trial increasingly emphasized women’s rights which was at that time starting to develop at a high pace and more women supported women’s rights activist everyday. Women’s Rights was finally getting the justice it deserved and the idea was becoming much larger, this was landmark in women’s rights as a step in the right direction for the equality of women. The women and men protesting side by side stating they are “Pro-choice” was not to say whether or not terminating a pregnancy is ethical, but rather fighting for the right for a women to be given the choice to determine whether or not they are content continuing on a pregnancy. Contraceptives were also an effect of this debate stating whether it is correct for people to be using contraceptives, and if contraceptive being used so openly is ethical for people will start mistaking abortion for a type of contraceptive. The thought that such a “Taboo” topic sparked a change in the way our government is coordinated did not indulge the citizens of the United
