The concept of shalom is very complex. The word shalom holds an abundance of meanings. A one word description of shalom is peace. The word shalom is simply greater than the one word definition meaning peace. Shalom is such a powerful word because it is a word that is unique to each individual. Each individual is able to learn what shalom means to them and apply it to their life. The word shalom can have a various number of definitions and meanings to each unique individual. This is what makes the word shalom a unique and powerful word. Defining the word shalom is a process that takes a lot of thought. The definition is much greater than a few words, or even a few sentences. Shalom is a whole lifestyle. It is how one should act and life their daily life. Shalom is a wholeness of peace of oneself and of one another. Shalom is a key term to live by in the nursing field. As one cares for someone while being a nurse they must do this in a way which shows care, compassion, trust, knowledge, and many more characteristics. To be a successful nurse one must know about the human body. There are many ways humans function. Since we function in many ways things tend to go wrong and as a nurse we need to know about the human body to help fix the patients problems. We must be able to distinguish signs and symptoms to help guide the doctor to bettering the patients condition. Knowing human science is important to healing a patient and being able to teach them about their condition. Being knowledgeable and factual is key to providing an accurate and credible description to the patient.
