Malcolm X once said that the main problem is race. In our society today, racial profiling is detrimental in how we perceive people around us. What is racial profiling, you might ask? Racial profiling can be elucidated as any action initiated by policemen that depends on the race, ethnicity, or the national origin of the individual that might have been engaged in criminal activity or any activity of that matter. Regarding racial profiling and the multiple perceptions that go along with it, the use of race is, unfortunately the answer in the way we think, act, and behave towards one another. Now, the real question is, how is love lost in how we perceive people around us?

Many more of minorities are dealt through profiling as if they are bombers, criminals, or even illegal foreigners. Equally, profiling consist of emotional repercussions as well as behavioral ones. Have you ever notice that many minorities who are completely uninvolved in any wrongful acts choose to adapt to driving in certain cars and on certain roads, or even dress differently, just to dodge or avoid the attention of the police. They shouldn’t have to subject who they are or act in such a way that doesn’t fit their culture just to escape police officer’s wrath. It’s just not right or fair. Picture police officers profiling blacks like vicious Great White Sharks. Profiling is like seeing a vicious shark and your trying to swim away to save your life. If I was perceived that way, I will feel very offended and hurt. To be judged falsely shows no appreciation of that person or love. On the other hand, there is a guy name, Ted Nugent.
