The Federal Public Health often assist when health threats or disaster expand over several states or a large region of a population. They go into action when disaster or solutions are beyond the jurisdiction of a state. The organization assists by providing their expertise to a public health crisis, for example, Hurricane Katrine a natural devastated that affect Louisiana and parts of Mississippi. They were also there to help with the 9/11 attack on the US in 2001. We all may remember where we were on that dreadful day. The state roles are to screen for diseases and conditions that are a hazard to the community, to provided treatment for these problems. A local health department is a unit, control by the local government that makes most of the fiscal decisions. This department is frequently governed by both state and local authorities. All three branches are working together to provide a safe, clean, and healthy living environment for all citizen.
