Mechanical Engineering is an innovative and research oriented field, the broad and diversified application of this branch always fascinated me. I had always wanted to be a part of this field and be able to contribute to the same. The more I learnt about Engineering Management in my under graduation, the more certain I became that a career in this path suits me. Further, I believe that a master’s degree in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering would provide enough opportunities to add to my intellectual knowledge and would be my first step towards creating something innovative and novel

During my under graduation, I incorporated a solid foundation in the fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering and Management subjects that instilled a lot of enthusiasm and passion in me. My hankering for Robotics made me to attend workshops on Robotics and which taught me about wired and automated programmed robots.

Industrial visits, to several manufacturing industries introduced me to application-oriented engineering. My respect for education and inclination towards applied science drove me to opt for math, physics and chemistry in my higher secondary education. After completing my high school, I felt that Engineering would be the area, which would give me the opportunity to learn and explore how the fundamentals of science are applied to create technology for practical and real purposes. Moreover, my innate strengths have always been creative abilities and the power of imagination; which made me take up a discipline that would allow me to channel them in the best possible way. Thus, Mechanical engineer...

Also, interaction with students and faculty from multifarious culture and qualifications would introduce me to the global standards & competition, develop my personality and augment my purview. I strongly feel that Industrial and Systems Engineering is highly structured striking the right balance between management studies and practical applications with prime focus on path breaking technologies.
I look forward to a challenging career in research which may even be arduous and demanding at times, but I am confident that with my sincerity and dedication, I will be able to make a meaningful contribution to the ongoing research and live up to the high standards expected in your university.

Hence, I earnestly look forward to being a part of your esteemed university.
