Hip Hop
Hip Hop was originated in New York with ghetto black and Latinos in the late 1960's of the 20th century and as of top hip hop still continues to evolve to present days and toward the future. Hip Hop is a culture, a type of art that has influenced countries all around the world. It is also a type of empowerment, especially for people of African America descent who wanted an outlet to express themselves in unique fashion when it originated in the 1970s. When people refer to "hip hop", the initial thought of music comes to mind and then dance that is associated with it. But it encompasses a little more than that, activities such as DJing, break dancing, graffiti, and rapping are all under the category of Hip Hop culture. People also have unique dress style and language that can easily distinguish them from outsiders. Although Hip Hop has a relatively short history from its origin over forty years ago, it has evolved and made it's way into mainstream culture and has fascinating journey leading up to today.
Hip hop has brought many people from all over the world together. With different culture style like graffiti, breaking, Beatbox, MCing, and DJing. These are some way to express who you are. Djing, is a technique of manipulating sounds and creates music using phonograph turntables and a DJ mixer. MCing, is all about rapping which is refers to "spoken or chanted rhyming lyrics with a strong addition. Rapping can be broken down to different things, such as "flow" and "delivery". After more than 30 years since hip hop cultures developing, there are no show of signs that this is going to be slowing down, instead it is going to continue to group. Especially in today sociality there are many way to keep it going due to technology.
Hip hop was started 1970's and has changed a lot in the past 30 years. Hip Hop is now apart of a mainstream music scene. It is not a surprise that artist from different genres collaborating with Hip Hop artists. Also its not uncommon to see artist hip hop music and cultures in moves, television shoes, and commercials. Before different ethnic communities wear different type of clothing to represent themselves and hip hop to their own culture. But today all races including Asian, Caucasian, and many more have accepted the hip hop style or you can say clothing.
