It means regardless of the gender, everyone will be paid with the same amount of salaries if they are working the same job. This provision is provided under Article 10 of the Declaration on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women. One of the countries that practice this concept is Canada. Pay equality in Canada is guaranteed under the Canadian Human Rights Act. All the workers will be paid with same remuneration, but it might be different due to the seniority or merit system.
