Do you have a dentist office that you go to? Do they treat you right? Well dental assistants have many needs and are needed to help you keep healthy teeth, dental assistants have requirements to be able to play the roles and responsibilities in this job. Without them there would be a lot of people with unhealthy teeth and it would not smell very good. Dental assistants have important jobs and have to make sure the patients are prepared so when the dentist comes in dental assistants will be ready and know what is going on or what dental assistants are about to do.

They have to welcome and seat the people and it is important the way they approach them and welcome them so that they keep their business by being nice and caring. They have to prepare the patients by pulling up all their information on the computer so that they are ready for when the dentist comes in to check them out and see how their teeth are looking.

They are needed to get all of the tools out and ready and put covers on the tools that they will be using on the teeth, and they have to put the bib on the patient so nothing gets on them while they are working. Then when the dentist comes in they tell the patient what they will be doing to the patient to make sure that's okay that they do that. Finally they go to work on the patient's mouth and the dental assistant assists the dentist at chairside during the treatment and hands them the tools when he needs them.

Dental assistants aren't always just working on teeth. They work in the front offices too. When a patient comes out and done being worked on the patient usually go to the desk so they can pay or make their next appointment so they will go ahead and have it set.
