Dehumidifier Essay By: Kelvin Cheung 8.2
The dehumidifier helps reduce the amount of moisture and creates dry air of a certain area that this machine is being placed in, so this means that it can be used in many cities that are close to the equator. So the main issue which this technology can solve, are moist environments. And humid air can usually create moulds to grow on walls, and eventually make a person sick.
Possible effects and some examples are pain in stomach, heat stroke, asthma or other allergy symptoms. So this technology is really useful for keeping our homes clean and healthy. The dehumidifier has an incredible design which solves the main issue really well; most dehumidifiers have a fan compressor, reheater, compressing cooler coils, and a reservoir. And here are how these components are broken down into three individual steps to work together and solve the issue. Firstly, a fan from a dehumidifier collects and drags air (with large amounts of moisture) into the machine. Then, as the air is being brought through, it approaches a section of the dehumidifier called the cooled coils. These coils are designed to perform the process of condensation to drag moisture away from the air that is passing through. The moisture would remain on the coils and eventually drip into the dehumidifier reservoir. Finally, the air inside the machine would be reheated and exhausted back to the room.
Another benefit that the dehumidifier has, is that it can speed up the process of drying laundry. And laundry can be an issue during the most humid and moist of times for people who don’t have access to balconies. So they would be required to layout their wet laundries in their houses which can cause humid air to get even more moist with ...

...ogress, which is brilliant for the electricity bill. However, affording these type of Dehumidifiers does cost a lot. Not only electricity bill, but medical fee as well. With the dehumidifier being used, moulds can be prevented from being grown on walls and making us sick. Evaluating and referring back to the first factor of it’s cost; this can lead to both positive and negative impacts, which would be a big effect. The positive impact is that most Dehumidifiers are now eco-friendly and doesn’t take up as much electricity anymore. But this means that it would have to be sold for a higher price. So basically, the development of this technology hadn’t solved any economic problems at all because the cheap ones create higher electricity bill, and eco-friendly ones are expensive. This can be related back to society again. So this factor does have a huge effect on economy.
In this paper over natural refrigerant I will be covering the pros and cons of natural refrigerant in light commercial and residential applications. There are many natural substances in this world that can be used to help or decrease the efficiency of a heating ventilation air conditioning system. Some of these substances are water, air, ammonia, and hydrocarbons. All these substances are natural that come from the earth we live on. Over the course of this paper I will be covering the pros and cons of swamp coolers, geo thermal heating and cooling units and how these natural substances can help and or decrease how your heating and cooling unit performs.
A humidifier is good for creating moisture in a room. It converts water to moisture and slowly fills the air. It should be noted to not overuse the humidifier as this can create respiratory problems later. It has the same effect as the steam in that it clears your stuffy nose by thinning the mucus. Breathing in humid air relieves inflammation causing the congestion. It clears the stuffy nose by soothing the irritated tissues and swollen blood vessels.
Hot air is taken into the chamber assembly from the remainder of the house through the come duct, affected by the blower across the evaporator to cool down, then pumped-up back to the remainder of the house through your home's duct system.
Air lite, for example, represents an eco-friendly technology advance by purifying the air around working like leaves on the trees, eliminating bacteria, mold, and functioning as a filter that eliminates toxic substances. It also reduces the energy consumption in about a 15-50% as it reflects the hot component of sunlight, avoiding that rooms overheat (EASME, 2017).
According to Jason, “costs would fall if people adopt new energy-efficient technologies without a price hike in energy” (Shogren, 2004). A study done by Jaffe and his colleagues concluded that 20-25% of existing carbon emissions can be eliminated if people switched to fluorescent light bulbs, improved thermal insulation, more efficient heating and cooling systems (Jaffe, Newell, & Stavins, 2003). It all comes down to the consumers. Some of the energy efficient technologies are readily available but are still expensive. The driving force to efficient-energy technology depends on the changes of relative price. People will not want spend money on newer appliances especially if the prices are high, and if their current one still functions.
The hair dryer uses an electric fan to blow air across a heating coil; as the air passes through the dryer it heats up. When the warm air reaches wet hair it helps evaporate the water.
Not only a air-freshener but also can give you the fresh air in every part of the world
... tag, and lots of regulation in certain countries requiring factories to use one, it puts a lots of stress and increases cost on the factory operators, and might cause jobs to be cut in order to buy and operate the ESP. This might affect economic growth, but on the other hand the ESP will result in cleaner air, and this has increased the housing market price due to cleaner air (Rich 2011), which will help a sluggish economy, for example in the U.S.
The factors for exponential growth for air-conditioning are the HVAC Market, energy, environment, communication, societal, political, preparing for the future, looking ahead, and the conclusion. Buildings of the U.S. use approximately 35% of the nation’s precise total of energy consumption. The worth of shipments by U.S. HVAC manufacturers was over $28 billion of 1996. Since there are 52,000 CHC chillers needed to be replaced among the U.S., there’s a large opportunity for new chillers, new technology for the HVAC industry. The ozone depletion is an international issue in which is currently being resolved. The 3rd world countries are still allowed to manufacture CFC’s. Illegal imports of CFC’S to the U.S. is a consistent concern. Many illegal imports are virgin CFC’s. Those whom have a political overtones are specifically the ones whom create a protectionism of local commerce, having a negative impact on those inside and out of the country.
Compressor: Function of compressor is removing the vapour from evaporator and increase the pressure & temperature up to condensed into the diffuser.
In order to accomplish this some input of energy is needed. The two major methods of refrigeration in use today are the vapour compression cycle and the slightly less common absorption refrigeration cycle. Vapour compression refrigerators are most common in residential and commercial refrigeration systems. This refrigeration system takes mechanical work as an input via a compressor to extract heat from a cold environment and expel it to ambient. The basis of the cycle is compression of a vapour refrigerant into a superheated state via mechanical work, condensing the vapour by expelling heat to ambient, throttling the vapour to a cold saturated mixture, and externally absorbing heat from a refrigerated space. Absorption chillers take heat as an input to accomplish the same task. In this case the refrigerant is typically ammonia or lithium bromide. The cycle is similar, but in place of a mechanical compressor there is a thermal compressor which absorbs heat as energy and requires very little mechanical work as an
Dehumidifier is work on absorption principle are specially for high humidity level at low temperatures. They are used in industry and commercial and residential building because humidity levels below 35% can be achieved.
Finally, the liquid moves to the evaporator, where heat from the inside air is absorbed and changes it from a liquid to a gas. After that, it goes again to the compressor, where the entire cycle is repeated.
Your washing machine is your source of clean and fresh clothes. In the modern day and age, it is something that you cannot live without. And like any piece of machinery, this home appliance needs regular maintenace. If you do not pay attention to cleaning your washing machine regulalry, you are bound to face issues such as fresh laundry not smelling good, growth of mould, etc. The good news is that you need not hire a professional for the regualr maintenance of your trusted washing machine. It is an easy task that you can do at home regulalry to keep your washing machine performing well for years to come.
Effect of the Washing Machine on society This essay will explore the impact of the washing machine on society. In particular, it will focus on Women and how the technology influenced them. First world, western cultures where the impact of the washing machine is mature will be focused on. At the beginning of the 20th century, the majority of married women worked at home. At the turn of the 21st century, most married women work full time.
