Most kids want to grow up to become a fireman, police officer, basketball player, and or football player; those are most kids’ dream jobs growing up but as they go through life, they soon realize that becoming those things are quite difficult so they start to notice other occupations that they are interested in such as becoming a computer engineer. A computer engineer is a very interesting and fun career that most will join this career has probably had a pass that focused on electronics and played video games that has convinced to want to become even better at it and even make something out of it. Therefore, becoming an engineer has several requirements rather than being just a fireman, police officer, basketball player, and or football player.
One requirement is that the individual must have graduated high school or have a GED. Those are the very minimum but to go above and beyond and to also get paid more they should get their bachelors or associates degree in college. Characteristics needed to become a computer engineer must have is excellent analyzing skills. They will come across various problems and numbers and must be able to notice things that are wrong.
That can make their salary six figures year round which can really help out with good living conditions. According to the National Association of Colleges and Employers, the class of 2012 engineering graduates had the highest average annual starting salaries, at $62,655.
