As a way to accommodate cultural and regional tastes, many American fast food restaurants have to change some of their menu items. American fast food restaurants such as McDonald’s, Pizza Hut and KFC have changed their menus a bit because of valid reasons such as McDonald’s India. In article “11 example of what can happen when American fast food goes overseas” by Michael Blaustein writes “Sausage McMuffin with Egg. For starters, the sausage is made from chicken, which hints at a general pattern found throughout McDonald’s menu in India: beef is verboten(forbidden)”(Blaustein). Instead, McDonald’s has adapted many traditional menu items and created entirely new ones to sell to a huge Hindu population, a religion that holds cows to be sacred. Other reasons can be that in some authentic American fast food restaurants, the recipes includes chicken, beef or pork. Where in countries like India can 't and do not eat beef because cows are believed to be worshiped and sacred. Nearly a big majority of people are vegetarians in India, so McDonald’s has to find a way for the vegetarians to enjoy McDonald’s. Also in the Middle Eastern countries, Muslims are only allowed to eat halal food where they can 't eat pork in some
Chinese restaurants have some good and bad qualities, but both do well in their own situation.
American food culture is a contest with the purpose of determining who can have the best meal. This contest is apparent when we share our meals through social media, and treat culinary art as a profession to create beautiful plates. As a culture, we are very accepting of forgone foods, and prefer meals we don 't normally see in our household over something we are accustomed to eating. From personal experience, when I would go out and eat with friends, we would always go
Especially in some countries with religious, McDonald 's development is particularly careful and they try to avoid religious trouble, like never using pork on the

I was born in one of the countries in Asia, and our staple food is rice. Rice is always at the center of the table, and the rest of the viand surrounds it. Here in the United States, my household still eat rice every day, accompanied by cooked vegetables and meat. My food choices are influenced by culture and family. Vegetables and fruits of my choice are abundant at the International Market and other Asian grocery stores. Vegetables are also available for a cheaper price at the farmers market. I myself buy these foods to ensure its freshness, prepare and cook them for my entire family. Inspired by Asian and American cuisine, our food is prepared with variety of cooking styles; such as dry like barbecues, baked and fried, with sauce
American style of food Cuisine as it’s frequently used in the essay is very unique in the eyes of Sequeira. Americans choose fast food because it is quick and easy to get. Drive through restaurants are one of these reasons. Americans families have long days at work and at school, so they decide to buy fast food; fast food restaurants can be located no further than a mile to find and can only takes no more than five minutes to get an order. The next reason is pre-packed snacks and meals. They are easy to get and ready to go; with maybe adding something into it for example, top ramen only needs water and only takes three minutes to cook. Lastly, when you are at work or at school, you only have a maximum of an hour to eat; eating healthy is not an option because it takes about a half hour to make a meal with rice, beans, and meat for tacos and to cut
The way in which we choose our foods can stem from events that occur during early childhood. When I lived in Jamaica as a child, I was only fed 'Jamaican style' cuisine. This involved lots of rice with peas, chicken, jerked pork, etc. However, I remember that my parents would take my brothers and I out to restaurants a few times a year as a treat. Our favourite place was a specific Chinese restaurant in a tourist area nearby our house. The food was prepared by Chinese workers and we got to experience what we believed was authentic Chinese cuisine. Another place in which we would enjoy was KFC. KFC represented an exotic 'Other' which allowed us to experience a different kind of social space. According to Finkelstein, this is known as an 'America place'. It is world-famous American food. Food consumption can be a social event where it is done solely for the experience. Interactions in restaurants are conditioned by existing manners and customs. Dining out allows us to act in imitation of others, in accord with images, in responses to fashions, out of habit, without need for thought or self-scrutiny. The result is that the styles of...
Foods from Africa, which have impacted North American cuisine are numerous, and common in the everyday eating habits of Americans. In the 21st century, Americans take for granted the history of the food they eat, and the origins of the foods that are eaten today. In the early part of the history of the United States, people of European descent brought recipes from home and adapted their recipes to the ingredients which were available. The slave trade was directly responsible for what many Americans think of as American food, and those foods are traceable to Africa. Because slaves incorporated their own foods into the everyday lives of their masters, some of the unique foods from Africa and their history are not well known today. American
McDonalds also uses diversification in its global marketing. McDonalds recognizes that different countries have different values, customs, and tastes. Therefore, McDonalds satisfies these diverse global tastes by diversifying the menu according to each country’s unique preferences. This added diversification tactic, allows McDonalds to stay competitive in a global market. Examples of McDonalds globally diversified menu would be that McDonalds offers an exclusive beefless menu to its customers who live in India. This is because eating beef in India is sacrilegious. To meet the tastes of customers in India, McDonalds created new offerings such as the “Pizza McPuff” and the “McVeggie.” McDonalds considers the cultural tastes in every country it opens its doors

Food is an important part of popular culture, and the beliefs, practices, and trends in a culture affect its eating practices. The proportion of money spent on food eaten away from home, as well as the number of restaurants, has been increasing since the second half of the twentieth century. People may dine at formal, sit-down restaurants, at fast-food eateries, at cafes, or they may purchase food from street vendors. There has been an “Americanization” of diets through the growth of fast-food restaurants.
We’ve gotten ourselves another cab and decided that we wanted to learn more about the culture we’re visiting. Mainly wanted to know about the food, we were still hungry. They had restaurants that we were familiar with but there was something different about them. In this country, they do not eat pork. It’s against their religion. Some of the common food places like McDonald’s, Burger King, and so on, didn’t have pork or chicken. My dad even brought KFC and they made rice as an exception. All the food was still delicious and taste even
