Everyone in the whole universe has a dream. Everyone wants to accomplish their goal in the future, from Bill Gates to the most unfortunate man in the world. Everyone has/had a desire which they want/wanted to come true. Most of the times, people dream about their future. Much the same as everyone else, even I have a similar dream like that.
When I grow up, I want to be a tennis player, that is my first decision and what I would genuinely like to be when I'm a grown-up. But, let's assume becoming a tennis player does not work out for me, I have a backup plan too. Being a tennis player is very difficult. My principle motivation to be a tennis player would be by my enthusiasm and the one thing that I like to do, other than playing video games. Even though I am genuinely athletic (that's what I think, at least), I don't show much interest in cricket, soccer, football, baseball, etc. The kind of sports that I like playing are racket sports such as tennis, table-tennis, badminton, etc. Besides racket sports, I also am an excellent swimmer, I tried out for the swim team, but since I arrived late for the tryouts, they were already over. Swimming is my favorite sport besides tennis.In any case, I wouldn't care to be a swimmer despite the fact that I am a huge fanatic of Michael Phelps. Now, you can't just continue playing tennis forever. Much the same as every other athlete, you will retire, sooner or later. So, retirement would be a critical factor in your life. Even if you have another job, suppose a software developer, you will retire because you can't just keep working forever. Striving to become a professional racquetball player is an admirable goal that will give you satisfaction and pride for the rest of your life. Most people can become professional racquetball players if they are willing to dedicate sufficient time and energy into improving themselves both in terms of physical fitness and on the court. Very few people who endeavor to become professionals in racquetball succeed, but the rewards associated with success are distributed in proportion to the adversity that was overcome along the way.
Some people may think that tennis is just a blow off sport, that it doesn’t take any talent, and anyone can do it. I started playing tennis about 4 years ago and I remember how hard it was to learn. One of my best friends and I started playing together and his dad had taught him how to play, when he first started teaching me I got really frustrated because I would keep hitting the ball out and I found out that playing and coaching tennis was much harder than it seemed.
Being experienced to being a member of the tennis team has prepared me and made me realize the importance of never giving up when times are rough and caring for others during difficult times. I know these techniques will indeed come in handy with life and furthermore lead me to my goal.
Tennis is a sport that most people don’t normally think about on a daily basis. The first thing that comes to mind is that it’s a boring sport for those in a higher class or somewhere off in the depths of France or Britain. Even so, the history of tennis is something that is quite interesting and the games involved can be profound. How did the sport of tennis come to be? Are there any variations of the sport? How has the equipment changed throughout the years? Why is tennis still around today? All of these have piqued interest at some point with a great amount of people, with the latter being the most interested question.
