The career I chose was a Physical Therapists. To become a physical therapist, you will have to enter the profession of getting your DPT, which is you Doctor of Physical Therapy. All physical therapists have to be licensed. You will have to attend the program for about 3years to get all of the information. The nature of work requires you to provide service to help others, relieve pain, restore and maintain health and fitness. The work environment for the physical therapy mostly work in offices, occupational and speech therapists, and audiologists. Most physical therapist work full-time. They have to make sure they can stay standing on their feet to be able to lift and more patients. They mainly work in private offices, hospitals, Clinics, and nursing homes. Physical therapist get paid around 84,000 a year which is on average $40.40 an hour. Before becoming a therapist you have to know how to measure degrees of injuries and recommend treatment plans. I have always wanted to deal with the body but I didn’t really know what exactly did I wanna do. But now since I have researched about therapists it makes me want to become a physical therapists. Reason though is because I have played sports most of my life and I have been injured several of time and I had to do therapy. I would be more into sports just because I still get to help others like my therapists helped me. If I ever become a therapist I hope to learn more and can be able to teach others that are to do the same. Physical therapy is just like any other doctor. They love to deal with and help people with there needs of injury. I've learned that children of all age groups can attend a therapy session.
