Adoption of Virtual machines in e-learning:
New technologies are supporting the education systems in the world. This is through making education available and cheap to acquire. In the modern world, the emerging technologies in Information technology support network education which includes online and distance learning (Howell, Williams, & Lindsay, 2003). Information technology has been enabled by wireless and mobile computing ability. This has helped to create convenience environment which is anytime, anywhere and anyway teaching and learning (Schulz, 2010). This means that institution of higher learning will have to dig deep in their technology spending to meet the need for this type of education. At the same time, many institutions have to redesign their work flows, network structures, application so that to meet this demand (Różewski, Kusztina, Tadeusiewicz, & Zaikin, 2011).
In order to overcome this, the majority of the world universities is adopting virtualization of their learning Systems in both local use and storage hence the need for cloud computing. This has enhanced the efficiency of providing better education service with little modification of the old system to suit the institution needs (Różewski, Kusztina, Tadeusiewicz, & Zaikin, 2011).
The support of virtual machine in practical Institutions of higher learning is offering courses which are practically oriented. This has really been challenged in a way that, the university has to invest heavily or less compromises the quality of the course. The virtual machines have turned to be the answer to this challenge (Ercan, 2010). .... There so many types of Windows server operating systems. So at this stage, the administrator has to determine the best Window Server, which fits the workload consideration plan. The administrator has also to determine the best management tool available to hold and to fit server consolidation plans of a given organization. This is the lot where the Hyper-V manager comes in to consideration because information technology supports the installation, deployment and management of virtual servers
After the best management tool has been identified, information technology has to be installed. This installation of Hyper-V Manger is essential so that top create a platform where the virtual machines will be installed and managed.
Then after successful installation of Hyper-V Manger, This means that the virtual machine can be created afresh or migrated from the physical Server.
