It has a variety of celebrations and customs.The people of Mexico are fun loving people.It’s beaches and warm temperatures attract tourists each year. One important thing that attracts the tourist to Mexico is its people. They show pride for their country and welcome other people to be part of it. People in Mexico have mouthwatering foods to eat and taste. A favorite food is Chorizo. Chorizo is a type of cooked sausage and in Mexico they add chili peppers on top to give it a spicy flavor. Another favorite food Mexicans eat are empanadas. Empanadas are a type of bread with chicken and vegetables stuffed inside.In every meal, you can usually find corn and beans. In most Mexican dishes there are chili peppers to give the dish a distinctive flavor. One of the most common peppers used in dishes is the jalapeno. The food of Mexico is very unique and fun to taste. In the country of Mexico there are various customs and traditions. One custom in Mexico is to always bring flowers or a gift the first time a person is invited to one’s house. Children don’t really talk about St.Nicholas in Mexico. They wait for “Dia de los Reyes”, or Three Kings Day. This is usually celebrated January 6. Also on September 16, they celebrate Mexico’s Independence Day.On Independence Day, Mexicans go outside at night and yell-“Viva Mexico!” three times in a row, which means-“Long Live Mexico!”. Mexico has had many world champions in boxing. They're boxing champions have become national heroes and a source of pride. The two most famous boxers are Roberto Duran and Julio Chavez. Roberto Duran was given the name “hands of stone” but in spanish it’s “ manos de piedra”. Julio Chavez was a six-time world champion in three weight categories. One thing that is different about Mexican fighting is it’s way of showing pride. The boxers show their pride by they're fighting moves and actions. Mexico takes pride in the sports they play. Mexico is an interesting country to visit and learn about. It’s diverse customs are fascinating and engaging. The people in Mexico and the country itself have very many activities, events,celebrations and history that make it fun to learn about.

Mexico has the highest Spanish speakers in the world. Mexico is located in the continent of North America. It is the 14th largest nation in the world (worldatlas.net, 2016).

As for some traditions, celebration of the Day of the Dead (Dia de los Muertos). Day of the Dead is a version of the widespread Roman Catholic feast of All Saints’ and all Souls’ Days. This day is celebrated on November 1 and 2, this day is to not to weep, but to celebrate love ones and welcome them back. Some custom that are done that day are the making of sugar skulls and gifts or offering, which are meant to attract the dead. These offering are used to help the dead find their way back to their loved ones on earth. As for religion in Mexico, a majority of the people are Catholic and some Christian but Catholic is the most dominate religion in Mexico. As for the United States as a whole its very diverse.
