There are many various perceptions and definitions for loyalty. For example everyone typically considers loyalty as respect for one another, has great communication with each other, and has unconditionally love for each other. In perspective loyalty consists of understanding, compassion, and trustworthy. Now you should ask yourself if you have friends that are loyal to you and what you value in a friend. For example these are qualities that a genuine person would have. For instance a friend had a friend that she considered a best friend, because he knew her dislikes and likes. He also knew when that friend was in a bad mood although her face said a whole different story. Freddy was not only her best friend but her confident as well, meaning he knew everything to know about her. He was there not only for the good and bad as well, then and there was when she realized he was a sincere friend. Someone who’s willing to be there for you when it’s not beneficial for them shows their true character and authenticity. According to the survey, 57.7% chose all of the above that shows characteristics of a loyal friend. There are many different characteristics a good friend needs to have. A good friend needs to be a trustworthy and loyal person. He needs to be fair, caring, and loving. A good friend would be someone that can make you smile or laugh; a person that will make you happy when you are sad. However he or she needs to be honest. She or he needs to be a person that is able to tell you the truth even if it isn't pleasant to hear. He needs to be able to tell you something that you might not want to hear. But a good friend
