What should be done about immigration reform? This topic is important because as seen on TV a lot is being discussed about what should be done about immigration reform. Another reason why we should care about immigration reform is, someone we know directly or someone we know trough a friend might be getting deported and that person needs support from family and support networks. I will explain three main points about why I support immigration reform: The first main point is, Immigrants with no criminal backgrounds should not deport. My mom was born in Ghana and my dad was born in Togo, we moved to the United States of America in 2007 because my parents, and they work hard every day since we moved to the United States to make sure we are feds, clothed, and provide the best life for so we could have a bright future just like every parent. So why deport a family that is causing no harm and is struggling and working hard just like everyone else? I can understand, if Immigrant were causing the crime rate to sky rocket, but there not, Most terrorist attack are cause by domestic terrorist. I believe that any country that wants peace it has to be able to work with others countries, and not label as Illegal Immigrant. The United States is almost blaming all there problem on Immigrants, when they aren’t the problem. If the U.S going to send immigrants back to where they came from, they should send the ones that have committed a murder, or bank robbery, not innocent people who are just trying to go about their lives. If someone is being deported they should have the choice to choose if they want their family deported too or if they want the family to stay, because it was whoever that’s getting deported fault not the whole family fault. I said the person should have the option to choose because they might have a business wherever they are getting deported from and they might need the other family members to stay and run the business for them and if the whole family gets deported because of that one person that is being deported mistake then I believe the country they relocated in must have something against the person that is being deported people. Keep the children’s together, if someone is being deported and they choose to live the kids by themselves or choose to put the kids in a foster or for whatever reason, do not separate the kids because it takes more than one person to keep a culture. If you separate the kids then it will be hard for them to know about their culture because the people that suppose to teach them got deported. Based on my own experience if you have no culture you have no belief and a person with no belief will believe in anything. Basically what I am saying is keep the children together so they can keep their culture and pass it on to the next generation because culture is really
