For many, fame is synonymous to being exceptionally good-looking, talented, and rich or being born to rich parents. For the most part, renowned people achieved their status because of their contributions to the society, be it through their inventions, innovations, public service, or by sharing their performing talents to the world. While there are others who continuously strived to become famous, there are those who just lived life according to their own rules and it was fame that sought them.

Of course, the easiest examples of this are celebrities who reached notoriety for no apparent reason at all. When it comes to this aspect, mentioning the Kardashians or specifically Kim Kardashian, would not be surprising at all. Dubbed as “famous for being famous”, her rise to fame can be attributed to the fact that she was well-connected. First, her biological father is the famous lawyer of O.J. Simpson while her stepfather is an Olympic star. Second, she constantly hung out with Paris Hilton prior to becoming popular and followed Hilton’s step of leaking her own sex tape. After the scandalous leak, Kim Kardashian’s star has become brighter and brighter through the years.
