Environmental And Environmental Effects Of Water Pollution

Significantly water is the universal solvent and factories are dumping wastewater into surrounding water areas and causing it to become polluted. Factories in the United States pollute water, which has an effect on society in many different ways. Not only do factories release wastewater which contained harmful chemicals in order to keep moving forward without taking responsibility for the greater effects, but it caused society and what they are doing to the environment. Wastewater from factories suggest a type of water pollution that causes many problems in the environment from the harmful chemicals and can be dangerous. Additionally, water pollution creates a social problem because it affects water areas near a factory and may cause health…show more content…
To emphasize, watersheds are an area of land that tends to separate water that flows to a different water area that could include other rivers. The purpose of the study was to show how water pollution could affect the water quality for agriculture including crops. The author stated that “biofuels crop production has environmental and economic effects, both positive and negative … the evaluation of the [Best Management Practices] to identify a cost-efficient watershed protection strategy highlights important issues that warrant further analysis” (Adusumilli 730). Both quotes show the effect of how a watershed could be responsible for water pollution that may affect surrounding crops and ruin…show more content…
The records could lead to finding out more about what researchers have already done in the past to solve this issue like in the Delaware Case Study where they tested the water and soil samples with the use of “rapid infiltration basin systems, RIBS” (Andres 392). Likewise, researchers have tested nutrients and soil samples in the past from groundwater near factories that release wastewater to find possible chemicals. Therefore, a solution to this is to test the nutrients and soil samples from groundwater. By seeing what has already been done in the past it could lead to encouraging other researchers to perform more studies for other areas in the United States to test chemicals in
