Environmental Advantages of Hybrid Vehicles
In the era science and technology of today, we are concerning about our environment, and finding ways to preserve our mother nature. Many country has done a lot of discussion and research concerning for the future of personal vehicles using oil product as a mean of energy, such as car. By using the car undiminishedly, it may pollute our mother nature by overusing the non- renewable oil. The emissions caused by the automobile have resulted in significant amount of health related damage and worsen the environment such as greenhouse effect and sound pollution and otherwise. How will hybrid car bring benefits to our environment?
First and foremost, there are some advantages of using hybrid vehicles which is reducing the emission of hazardous gas. In the world, there are many destruction that has been done to the environment due to the majority of the vehicles emit the hazardous gases such as nitrogen gas, carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, and volatile matter . All of these gases can cause ground level smog that harm our respiratory system and effect the development of organisms. The product of combustion off traditional fuel engine is carbon, which bonded to oxygen produced CO and CO2, the gases are released to the atmosphere such as carbon dioxide which are the compound in CFCs .If too much of these greenhouse gases will lead to the rise of the temperature of the planet ,destruct the ozone layer ,drastically causing the distinct climate change, appropriately labeled as global warning. Hybrid car has special engine which has two types of power sources-traditional gasoline fuels and an alternatives fuel source which are electric or hydrogen-run rechargeable motor. It let the second source t...

... Imperceptibly, the formation of lead recycling industry gradually built up.For examples, Toyota spent $200 bounty to purchase the unused battery ,and undergoes recycling.Toyota states: every part of the battery ,from the precious metal to the plastic, steel case and the wiring ,is recycled.
Apart from that, entire world which is largely dependent on oil.. Overview the data of United States Energy Information Administration, the consumption of cruel oil in Malaysia is more than the production from 2008 year .It is an undesirable result for us due to the scarcity energy uses. In the majority of hybrid cars, which are powered by a combination of traditional gasoline engine and an alternative power supply . Under the circumstances, the hybrid car accomplished our country to save the dependency of oil and preserved the rich resource in our country for future progress.
A Car is a product that people use for transportation from place to another. First, people innovated a steam powered car. By the time, people started to use different fuels to power the cars. For example, people used hydrogen, petrol, and gasoline to power their cars. Nowadays, most people use cars that are powered by petrol or gasoline, even though it affects the environment and create pollution. Moreover, people have invented electric vehicles, which are powered by electricity. This means that people need to recharge the car between time to time using electricity. As a result, some people think that electric cars might not cause any harm to the environment; on the other hand, some might think that it might cause some environmental harm, but
When a car battery dies most people will take it to a shop or store that carries their brand of battery and turn in the old battery for a core fee, what happens afterward is the battery will be recycled. Vehicle batteries consist of a lead and acid content; Ninety-three percent (93%) of the content can be recycled, but the seven (7%) accounts for 42,000 tons of lead being released into the environment because the lead does not break down like the other
The advanced technology used in hybrid cars also allows the car to conserve as much fuel as
Throughout time gasoline fuel has been the major fuel used in order to power cars. Even today the majority of people who have cars they are typically gasoline powered cars. Although gasoline has been improved throughout time, the world today now needs alternatives to gasoline since it is hurting the world. The world is in need of an alternative that will help the environment. One major and successful alternative is the hybrid car.The creation of the hybrid car will greatly affect the world positively.
The first advantage is hybrid vehicles use less fuel than their petrol counterparts. This is because hybrids have an additional electric motor to help power the vehicle and reduce the strain on the engine, besides being able to shut down the...
The idea of the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) has been around for longer than a decade, as many people may not have originally thought. In fact, hybrid vehicles have been in development for the past century. The combination of an electric motor and a gasoline engine has been stirring in the minds of scientists and inventors alike for many years. Hybrid cars have surpassed many feats as it's progressed through the years, such as increased gas mileage and reducing the pollutants that regular internal combustion engines expel. While the hybrid car is in high demand at the present time, some people believe these cars are just a quick resolution before bigger and better ideas, such as fuel cell vehicles, begin taking over the automobile industry. Still, the development of the hybrid car has had many effects on today's society and may continue to in the future.
Today, people try to find resources that do not impact on the ozone, or cost a large amount of money. Moreover, most people are not happy with unclean air, which causes an unhealthy environment to live in, and one of the reasons that make unclean air is a fossil fuel. There are millions of cars run daily, so they make the area impure; therefore, the electric cars are the solution for this problem. Electric cars powered by electric motors, and using renewable energy instead of gasoline, are more helpful. One author argues that electric cars are more useful than traditional cars to protect the environment, especially when they depend on the source that used.
Hybrids release fewer and cleaner wastes, resulting in smaller pollution levels. Hybrids are helping to reduce the effects emission that we are having with oil, reducing smog and protecting the earth 's ozone layer. Hybrid cars run on twin powered engine that cuts fuel consumption and conserves energy down to an tremendous amount. Hybrid vehicles can be a cleaner option that most fuel efficient gasoline engine cars since it have a small engine being assisted by the small electrical motor to reduce the amount of CO-2 being released into our atmosphere. Eco-friendly cars are also beneficial because they produce much lower levels of emissions than other vehicles. This not only helps improve our air quality on earth while benefiting society in general but can also be a relief for you and your passengers. When a typical non-hybrid owner like me is stopped at lights or stop signs, harmful emissions from non-hybrid cars can directly affect the passenger who is riding with me or people outside around me. Because of the harmful health effects of these emissions, it’s best that we try to eliminate any exposure. I think that hybrid vehicle is a great choice in reducing global warming, cutting fuel costs, and slashing oil
According to a November 16, 2004 article written in the parents magazine, hybrid cars are no different from the gas powered car. It can accelerate just as quickly and travel just as fast on the highway and they are just as safe to drive. When the car comes to a complete stop, the engine shuts down completely and starts up again when the accelerator is pressed. Therefore, gas is not wasted and toxins are not emitted. www.ineed2know.org
In this day and age, our world is being consumed by the rapid growth of the world’s population. From the beginnings of time with cave men thousands of years ago up until the Industrial Revolution, the number of people living on this planet never passed a billion, and was always growing at a slow pace. When the Industrial Revolution hit the population skyrocketed to over 7 billion people. The growth of population has not slowed down since then, and more technological advances are popping up everyday to help balance the rapid growth. The amount of people in the world is literally growing each and every day. As the population grows we put more demands on our planet to provide for the billions and billions of people inhabiting it. The world cannot change to provide for these large populations and huge demands, so we must start being more efficient to sustain ourselves. This means doing everything we can from producing food more efficiently to mining materials in a smarter and better way. If we are not able to make simple changes to become more efficient we will over use our planet’s resources and create drastic issues in the future. One way people have been trying to cut back and be more efficient is through a recent technological development in the car industry. New vehicles have been created with more efficient uses of earth’s resources such as ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEV) like hybrids, and zero emission vehicles (ZEV) like hydrogen fuel cell electrics. Major breakthroughs and development of these new generation of vehicles has immensely grown in the past twenty years.
Today, people use their own personal vehicles to travel more than ever before. Personal transportation is no longer considered a luxury; it is now considered a necessity. The number of cars in the United States has been growing steadily since the 1970s. The number of miles traveled by cars has risen nearly 150 percent, yet the United States population has only grown roughly 40 percent during that time (hybridcars.com, Driving Trends). Although it may seem like we are advancing into the future, in reality, we are moving backwards from the effects these vehicles have on our bodies and the environment. The pollution produced by these vehicles has brought us to the day where we must find other modes of transportation that cause less harm to the world in which we live. Advances in technology have developed hybrid vehicles to try and slow down the amount of pollution. Driving a hybrid vehicle, instead of a conventional gas powered vehicle, can reduce the amount of pollution that affects our lives and the environment around us.
In the last years the price of petrol has been getting even more higher. Hybrid cars allow the customers to save money in low regimes when the car uses the electric engine. It is the perfect solution for the city drivers.
Hybrid cars use both gas and electric. The gasoline engine is the primary source of power, while the electric motor is used at low speeds. Emissions levels are reduced because the gasoline engine shuts off at low speeds. An additional benefit of the parallel configuration is that no outside source of electric power is required because the engine itself generates the required electricity. A Hybrid Electric Vehicle known as HEV have several advantages over traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles: Regenerative braking capability, which helps minimize the energy lost when driving. Engine is sized to average load, not peak load, which reduces the weight of the engine. Fuel efficiency is greatly increased, while emissions are greatly decreased. HEVs can be operated using alternative fuels; therefore they need not be depended on fossil fuels (http://www.ott.doe.gov/hev/what.html#hev). Another great thing about these machines is the mpg; on the average, a hybrid car gets anywhere from 55-70mpg on the hwy. This is what makes the car all worth having. Now all this sounds good, but there are some issues that must be addressed.
An example of an efficient car that has been successful due to scientific engineering is the Toyota Prius. The worlds top selling hybrid car with cumulative global sales of over 3 million units by June 2013. The Toyota Prius’ tailpipe emissions (grams per kilometer CO2) is 82g/km. While another popular car such as the Toyota Land Cruiser’s tailpipe emissions is 214 g/km. This shows how after scientific innovations a hybrid car, that is electric and fuel powered car, has evolved into one of the most popular and has 132g/km less than the Toyota Land Cruiser.
Vehicles in this day and time are nothing like what they used to be. Over half of the car manufacturers are now trying to build new cars and trucks to be as fuel efficient as they can be. Although hybrids conserve more gas than standard vehicles do, they use gas, also. Hybrids do not use as much gas as the ol...
