Ways to improve endurance

Wikipedia defines endurance as the ability of an organism to exert itself and remain active for a long period of time, as well as its ability to resist, withstand, recover from, and have immunity to trauma, wounds or fatigue. A very precise summation of something that can take years to acheive. In terms of fitness, endurance is what allows you to exercise longer. Good stamina and endurance means a healthier and fitter you. It equals to high energy levels and better circulation. But what works for someone in a specific time frame may not yeild the same results to another person. The rate of metabolism and the body's response to exercise is unique to each individual. But nonetheless, eventually if a body is pushed for a considerable period of time, the endurance is bound to increase. There are quite a few simple ways where the endurance of the body can be improved.
