After alien invaders nicknamed Buggers, by the people of Earth are successfully defended off by Earth’s mightiest heroes. It is when Orson Scott Card’s Ender’s Game takes place. The characters conflicts, and themes crafted in Card’s novel will deeply indulge the reader in this wonderful tale of great characters, conflicts everyone shares, and one lesson to be learned by all. Initially, in the beginning, Ender was a pushover. Before, Ender entered battle school he was harassed by his childhood bully Stilson. But then the monitor implanted in Ender was removed and the next time Stilson decided to harass Ender, it did not go well. The main conflict in Ender’s Game, is one shared among all of the characters in the story. Whether it be the ones introduced in the novel or just the ones in the universe set in the novel; it is the great big bad ugly Buggers. They are an intelligent race of alien arachnids who have invaded Earth, but before our story takes place; the warriors of Earth had managed to fend off them. Now it's up to Ender’s generation to lead armadas of space ships to avenge those killed in the Bugger’s invasion of Earth. This conflict remains solid throughout the entire story’s plot, Ender and other kids his age are brought to battle school. Where they will learn all the aspects of war in order to strike vengeance against the Buggers. Eventually the conflict is solved in the novel; that is when Ender and some of his squad mates are task with their final simulation which is a scenario of an invasion of the Buggers homeworld. Ender and his squad mates managed to accomplish their task, little did they know right after their mentors told them all the simulations were all real.
