Enforcement officer, John Preston’s wife, Viviana Preston touches and holds her husband’s face, kisses him before being taken into custody for execution by the other clerics for failing to take her daily injections of Prozium doses to suppress her human emotions and encourage obedience.
As John Preston walks among the crowd in the city, he drops his Prozium. More aware of his surrounding compared to the other Librians, he sees a lady holding and sliding her hand up on a railing while going up the stairs. He removes his gloves to mimic the lady and touches the railing, felt it but he eventually clenched his fist showing reluctance toward embracing his emotions and feelings.

The cleric sees his reflection in the mirror and this time his facial expression changes as he experiences brief episodes of emotions. He touches his reflection in the mirror and hides his Prozium dosages behind it.
After waking up from his dream due to the emotions evoking dreams and memories, Preston walks toward the window covered with a thin film of paper-like material to obstruct the sight of the city which is eventually breathtaking. He rips the material off the window glass and watches the rain pour from the sky along with the sun shining. A rainbow appears making the sight even more eye catching for Preston to gaze.
He catches a glimpse of himself in the mirror during a raid in Mary O’brien’s house and he stares into it for a couple of seconds before stating that “the mirror frame is illegal. Destroy it.”

Emotions play an important role in how we behave and think even though they can be really painful at times. The emotions we feel each day compel us to take action and influence the decisions we make about our lives. Emotions are adaptations that help us survive, thrive and avoid danger. It also serves as an adaptive role by motivating people to act quickly. They allow different people to understand each other, giving cues to help a person to understand one’s feeling during interaction, e.g. facial expressions, body languages or directly involve how a person is feeling.
Feelings are not enemies; they offer important information that your reason might overlook. Feelings offer data about a person, his/her experiences and situation. It is helpful to appreciate the positive role feelings are meant to play in our life. The more we align our feelings with a positive understanding of what they can do for us, the more we can try trusting them to carry us forward in our
