As Emerson suggests in the first part of Nature: stay away from people, stay away from society, face to nature, such as the starry sky, which can make you feel lonely. I do agree with him because sometimes we should slow down in own life and feel more from nature even I don't like loneliness too much time. However, I am a very busy modern city person, and how can I feel nature in deeply? For understanding Emerson’s Nature, I better to follow him to walk close to nature. In Emerson’s essay, he is willing to be a child. He writes, “…a man casts off his years, as the snake his slough, and at what period soever of life, is always a child.” (11) Because of my heart still feeling young even now my age is growing. He wrote the wonderful sentences: “Standing on the bare ground, -- my head bathed by the blithe air, and ... I become a transparent eye-ball; I am nothing; I see all...I am part or particle of God.” (11) Although my faith is different with him, I still felt the power of nature. In the garden, my eyes followed a bee move to a field of golden primroses. From a distance, primroses emit golden yellow light; when a gust of wind was blowing, they shake the yellow flowers nod to me like layers of waves. Emerson believes that people should return to their childhood and observe the world with the heart. He writes,“The greatest delight which the fields and woods minister, is the suggestion of an occult relation between man and the vegetable. I am not alone and unacknowledged. They nod to me, and I to them.”(11) When I turned around, a tall and straight tree which has strong and powerful branches came into my eyes. Its thick leaves showed us the color of spring. Children were free chasing and playing around the area; they remind me of my childhood. In nature, we can enjoy the blue sky with white clouds, green grass, fragrant flowers, the dance of the butterflies and the nice songs of birds. All of these make me intoxicated.
