Looking back 15 years ago to the electronic and digital technology we had then compared to what we have now is incredible to see first hand. Society knew this new technology would come but never thought it would be here this immediate to where everyone and their grandmother’s posse some form of it. It is deranged that a great deal of individuals hate this new age where technology is ubiquitous and taking over. Most of them that are not fond of electronic or digital technology always tend to discourage it by saying that it causes “lack of social skills”, it is a “constant distraction” and sometimes that it has potential to become an “addiction”. Personally, I believe it is a good thing that we have all this new digital/electronic technology because 1) it allows us to better our life’s on a everyday basis, 2) connects us on a worldwide scale, 3) allows us to learn more about subjects pertaining to our fields, allowing us to expand our knowledge and 4) mainly it allows us to have unlimited access information. “Every once in a while a revolutionary product comes along that changes everything. … One is very fortunate if you get to work on just one of these in your career. Apple’s been very fortunate it’s been able to introduce a few of these into the world.” Said by Steve Jobs. Mr. Jobs announced the first iPhone January 9th, 2007. When this was announced, it instantaneously changed the world before our eyes because there was now a new electronic technology that would grant us the right to advance our lives. One motive to how this new electronic technology allows society to better everyday lives would be because it accompanied us to be more punctual with time. Overall This new age digital/electronic technology gives us capabilities to learn any subjects we would like pertaining to our fields, entitles us to better our lives on a everyday basis, connects us on a worldwide scale and mainly it gives us incalculable access to information.
