The National Electronic Health Records (NEHR) is a data exchange system that stores the medical record of every person in Singapore who has seen a doctor in the public healthcare system since February 2011 (Ministry Of Health, 2014). EHR can improve the clinical quality, enhances patient safety and efficiency. EHR allows people in the healthcare sector to communicate and exchange data accurately, effectively, and consistently and use the information that has been exchanged.
