If there is one thing that everyone has in common in this world, it would be social media. The rise of social media does not only give people the right and the privilege to view anybody personal information, but also endanger people. Social media is something everybody is familiar with and engages on a daily basis. The most common knowledge of social media distraction would be to students who do not pay attention in class because they are always on their phone, but many people are not aware of the fact that social media distraction is becoming a big problem in the health profession. This article gives a different approach from the other three articles as the authors thinks that social media is helpful in the health profession rather than causing it harm The authors use their knowledge and research to inform doctors, medical students and the health patients on how social media can facilitate the achievement of clinical excellence and if social media really helps or causes harm in a hospital environment. Samantha Bowden is a teacher at King 's College London and Tabor flickinger works at the Department of General Internal Medicine at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. The fact that both of the authors teach medical school at very big known colleges makes them reliable and trustworthy to write about this topic. The article is published by the Clinical teachers which the article more useful and trustworthy because it is a source frequently used by those in the Medical. This article will be useful to me because it gives me a different approach from the other three articles. The fact that the article has a different approach than the other articles will help me in developing a better argument because I can argue in both ways. Overall this article will be useful in providing different arguments in my paper.
In general, all the sources provides useful information to the issue on social media in the Health profession, However, Samantha Bowden and Flickinger peer reviewed article is more appealing, due to the fact that it addressed a different point of view from the other three article.
