Many college freshmen are sent by their parents to a college far from their home where they don’t know many people. Many of these students have never cooked or done anything in their house before. They had their parents to cook for them, but now that they live along they don’t know what to do, so they start eating fast food because they don’t know how to cook and they can save time like that. Once these students start eating fast food they don’t stop. They get used to the fact that they don’t need to cook and they don’t have any family that would stop them.

Fast food truly changes the life of many college students, but not in a good way. Fast food get many athletes to stop working out and this affect them physically. Not only they stop working out, but also they start eating bad food that they think it is “better”. Fast food doesn’t give as much energy as college student think. Many college students believe that because fast food has that many calories, they would get energy from it. However, when you eat that quantity of calories your body doesn’t digest them, so your body doesn’t get the energy necessary and the student start to feel tired all day. When these students start to feel tired all day, they will not be as productive as they used to be, so they start to lose track of everything.
As was previously stated, although fast food can save college student some time, fast food brings many health problems, physical changes and money problems to the college students. It would be great if college gave free courses for cooking or how to control yourself when you are a freshmen. I would personally love that. In my case when I was a freshmen, no one taught me anything so I had to learn everything in the hard way and I thought I wasn’t that bad, but now that I see my new roommate I realize how difficult it is to be a
