The play Macbeth written by Shakespeare in the year 1605 is one of Shakespeare’s fastest, shortest and straight forward tragedies in its portrayal of the rise and fall of the protagonist. The play engages the audience through the life journey of Macbeth as he climbs the social hierarchy and accomplishes his desires. Macbeth greatly focuses on the impact of ambition on an individual and the others amid that individual. Ambition is often referred as perseverance that acts positively on one’s desired achievement.
