Effect Of Ecosystem On The Ecosystem

Introduction – Part A
One of the main components in ecosystems are the interactions and relationships that exist between its living organisms. The population ecology is the how organisms interact with their environment. The energy flow is the amount of energy that moves through a food chain. Food chains are created by the interaction and relationship organisms have with prey, predator and producers. The relationships in the food chain between the prey, predator and producers are quite dependent. Without the one another the all organism dies off and can’t survive. We conducted a simple virtual ecosystem test that shows how the change in prey, predator or producer can affect the ecosystem.

Paragraph 1 – Part b
The graph above in figure 1 shows the relationship between predator, prey and producer. …show more content…

Figure 1 has the original amount of predator, prey and producers listed on shodor; interactive activities, rabbits and wolves and in figure 2 there has been a modification in the number of prey. With the modification the number of predators has been changed for 5 to 7; listed as C in the options of modification. The trend lines in figure 1 show that the prey numbers are up quite high from 40 to 70, when in figure 2; where the prey is modified. The prey trend lines are only high through 40 to 60. As well as the difference in time the trend lines are high due to the modification of predators. The percentage of prey is lower in figure 2. The trend lines for the grass in figure 1 and figure 2 are quite similar. The difference is, the trend lines in figure 1 are at their lowest through 60 to 80 and are then on a consistent rise all the way through to 160. The grass trend lines in figure 2 though are at their lowest at 60 and are then on a consistent rise all the way through to 160. The grass trend lines are similar but in figure one they are at a low point for
