Laying there in my dim and lonely bedroom I had finally finished reading the last tender sentences of the book and proceeded to close it. My mind was as a merry go round spinning around and around. I was on the ride and couldn’t seem to get down. Seconds felt like minutes and minutes felt like hours. Flooding throughout my body was a sense of loneliness; knowing he did not truly exist felt like a ton of bricks crashing down upon me. I now thought of myself as one of the thousand other crazed girls who felt exactly as I did after reading the Twilight Saga. Edward Cullen, how had this character truly impacted me to the point where I felt as a child being told Santa did not exist? Could my heart truly be this crushed by just another made-up fictional character? I could not grasp in my mind the feelings I had. His qualities had triggered a fantasy within my mind. It was as if not only the book had become a reality to me so had he.
Golden bright rings that gleam as they pierce through your soul; as beautiful as a sunset melting into the still black waters his pupils. Staring into them you could slip away into paradise. His face is pale marble lacking imperfection; flawless without a wrinkle or blemish. Those lips a soft pink full and supple enticing your flesh, and slowly drawing you in deeper with each and every word. Thick and dark his straight eyebrows give him a deep and mysterious expression. His thin stretched nose perfectly complements his strong jawline, and high cheek bones. Chocolate colored hair with fragments of sunburnt orange. His flowing locks are long enough to grasp within your hands; each strand soft and shiny. Wild and untamed his hair is like a tall never ending grass field. His body is like that of a Greek god...

There I am lying, I am awoken by a bright shimmering, yet quite bothering light, I slide to my right to find my angelic husband Demetrious, he was breathing softly and faintly, I wrap my arm around him onto his buff body, and his eyes stare at me gracefully, I come to acceptance and find myself thinking how this happened, from hopeless back then, to happiest I could be, and all because of one man, he made me feel gloomy like when we first met, his eyes would affectionately stare deep into your eyes. His bright personality brightened up my day, that one special day, the most beautiful day of day, it was a sunny, warm yet quite balanced day, everything was going normally, then carelessly out the corner he came, Demetrious, and one problem was that he liked my hearty, hysterical good friend Hermia. Hermia had a generous and gentle personality, she had beautiful eyes and I was very fondly jealous of her, she got all the cute, boys that I always admired, yet one day things unexpectedly turned the other way around.
Edward was raised in Ashland, a small town filled with average people. From the day he was born, Edward proved he was anything but ordinary, he was a big fish in a small pond. A citizen from Ashland said “-eventually he knew more than anybody, even Mr. Pinker, the librarian. He was a big fish, even then” (12).
His physical characteristics, mannerism, and personality enchant me. He is tall, Caucasian. His brown eyes match the color of his hair, and his white skin makes his hair looks darker. His breath is fresh and tempting; his lips tantalizing. His jaw bone is like the one of an angel and everything in him is beautiful. Moreover, his long neck is always well perfumed, and every time he gets near you, you can feel the sweet-smelling fragrance of his cologne. Along with his masculine hands, he has long, toned arms that can hug you like a bear. His chest is hard and tanned; his abs prominent. His long, strong legs are like the ones of a sports man. His gentlemanly mannerism and courtesy are one of a kind. Furthermore, he is intelligent and mature. He can have fun like a little boy and can make me laugh with whatever craziness he does.

He enlightens her to talk concerning something irregular to divert him from backpedaling to slaughter Bella's stalkers. After he protects Bella, he takes her to supper, where Bella cross examines Edward about how he knew where she was. The auto ride home from Port Angeles is another scene where the motion picture's timetable contrasts from the book. Amid the auto ride Bella discloses to Edward her speculations about him (Meyers 161). Her speculations are based on the story she gained from an old clan legend Jacob disclosed to her when they meet on the shoreline, uncovering that she knows Edward is a vampire (183). Edward at that point demonstrates her what he is able by utilizing his superpowers of speed and quality and calls himself "The best predator on the planet."
As the Ring-bearer of The Lord of the Rings, Frodo is a special hobbit who can resist the temptations of the ring . In the beginning he is brave, selfless and thoughtful. Frodo’s good and innocent character might make him seem one-dimensional if he were not so frequently wracked with doubt and faced with obstacles.
However, everything is unusual in Edward’s world. Tim Burton introduces another realism from Edward’s perspective. The impression of where Edward comes from is completely different from what is observed in the neighborh...
I looked up at Gabriel from the grass. I never actually got to inspect the full extent of his features. His dark brown hair was tussled and looked as if he had been running his fingers through it from stress. His green eyes resembled emeralds. He had a bit of muscle on him, but he wasn’t too broad shouldered. You could see a small rose tattoo on his upper bicep. He wore a dark green t-shirt and jeans. He was definitely handsome, and all his features complimented each other.
...e romance between the dashing Edward and the everyday Bella, Meyer effectively reshapes the historical bond between vampire and victim. Although spiffed and tweaked, the new relationship succeeds because it has embraced and embellished a sturdy and historical foundation. Society has used the vampire, in some form, as a catalyst for protecting the human virtues of life and chastity, while managing to enthrall generations of movie goers.

Just like in any relationship, the concept of trust is an effectual factor in starting and developing a healthy and romantic relationship. In the movie, when Edward and Bella had a biological class together this aspect drew the two together, and the trust factor emerged at the first sight. The scent of Bella had an intense influence on Edward, for he is a vampire in nature. Moreover, it seemed as if Bella was the one Edward was waiting for a long time. Edward left school for a few days because the scent of Bella was too strong for him, and upon his return to school, he avoided stating the truth of why he was away from school. Edward stated, “He had to get out of the town for personal reasons and just in few days” (Blasingame et al. 57).

How does one define a perfect match? Society defines two equally attractive individuals as perfectly matched, and that a woman’s beauty defines her attractiveness. In “Litany,” Collin’s speaker presents and describes a true, unconditional and unequally relationship as a picture-perfect puzzle. The speaker names characteristics and attributes that his lover lacks while also listing others attributes in as backhanded manner. While using “you” the speaker portrays and addresses his lover with unusual comparisons and with ordinarily undesirable. He describes himself more attractively and the fact that despite his superior characteristics, he still needs and loves her. Many of his comments are backhanded with double meanings. “Litany” much like Shakespeare’s, “My Mistress’s Eyes Are Nothing Like Sun,” mocks the perfection and romantic idealism of love. Through metaphors, an effective use of syntax, structure, and contrast, Collins effectively conveys humorous satire towards traditional love poems while describing a view of a perfect match.
In particular, this theme is revealed in many occasions in the book. On page 56, Edward comes out of nowhere and saves Bella from a car accident that potentially could have taken her life. “Two long, white hands shot out protectively in front of me, and the van shuddered to a stop…” In similarity, towards the end of the movie, Edward saves Bella (who is alone) from being attacked by James. This makes us ask, “How are both of these scenes related?” However, both of these scenes are prominent in the movie and the book because they are so vital to the story. This shows how despite being far away, his protectiveness over Bella made him save her. This inflicts very positive characteristics on Edward, such as: bravery, selflessness, and compassion. The idea of love is what caused him to commit irrational actions in the most necessary
Her eyes shined like a glossy pearl just washing on a shore of black sand with the warm rays of the sun shining down on it. Lips of bright cherry red went well with the tight black dress she was wearing. The light hit her just right so you could see every luscious curve of her body. She smelled like an ocean breeze coming in to the shore. Just try to imagine the perfect most beautiful woman you have ever seen in your life and times that by ten fold. Absolute perfection on high heals.
