Most people recognize Edger Allen Poe for his famous poem, The raven, but Poe has many more outstanding poems and short stories that has had a huge impact in the literature world. Poe's poems and story have come from past and current expenses, each poem and short story are given with a lot of thought and love from Poe and he tries to express his feelings to all his readers by his words.As a son of an actor Poe never knew his father and his mother passed away, thus causing him to feel alone. The tragedy, Edgar Allen Poe has experienced in his life has influenced his work, as shown in The Raven and Annabel Lee. His sadness of being alone and the thought dying alone with no one drew him to write most of his stories and poems about death and “Nevermore”. Poe used his life of depression and turned it into poems and stories we still read till this day. The time Poe was born Money was a major issue, the rich were getting richer and the poor were getting poorer. Poe was born into an absent family, mother dying so young and father leaving the family Poe had to live with a poor tobacco farmer. Poe struggled with life, he had no friends, no job and was financial trouble. He moved to New York City thinking he was going to get a quick job, he got some of his pieces published, but others he tried to submit his works to a newspaper company but was constantly rejected. Poe used death as a writing topic in most of his pieces from his wife dying to use in Annabel Lee for being alone with his mom, wife and father all leaving to write The Raven. Many of his stories is because of his harsh death fill life that he lives day in and day out. No matter when he goes Poe always had bad luck and death follow
