Malaysia’s food industry continues to grow each year with the increasing number of local fast food chains and restaurants and those from other countries. The emergence of these new cafes, fast food shops and hawker stalls are greatly welcomed by the younger population. Hectic lifestyles of the working population also lead this food service industry to significant levels of growth.

7.1 Eating Trends in Kampar
Eating out has always been a trend in Kampar, especially among the younger population. With ‘mamak’ stalls and hawker stalls in every corner, sitting down to relax and have a cup of coffee or tea while having a little chat with friends is a trend for the residents living in Kampar. Customers, especially students can still be seen eating in ‘mamak’ stalls around late night or even midnight. To ease students in hunting for food, roadside stalls can also be seen around student housing areas and by the roads to the campus. Currently, we sell two different products on a weekly basis. Mexican food has a wide variety of food and we are limiting it to two different products. It is because of the management team are smaller and the investors are also the members that running the business. It would be a enormous workload if we bring in more varieties in our business unless we expand the business scope by hiring more employees.
The second weakness is that the service that we are not providing the delivery service and we are open for dine in and take away only. Despite of lacking in a parking lot in the open field because of other stall that occupied the places in the open field, it would be easy if we provide the delivery service for those who wanted to have our food, but couldn't make it to the stall, this is also will be a helpful for those UTAR students that used to take public transportation to go
