Recommended: Emt question and answer

About two months ago, my friend Jack had a seizure. I found him lying on the bathroom floor convulsing, foaming at the mouth, and unresponsive. I instinctively called an ambulance and began applying my EMT training. My training allowed me to respond promptly to this high stress situation in which every second counted. Without timely intervention, his condition would have worsened and possibly lead to irreparable brain damage. I have not decided on a specific major yet, but I have medical school in my sights. Assisting others when they do not have the capacity to help themselves gives me an incredible sense of fulfillment.
