1. According to the medical examiner from the article, there are two causes for the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman. The causes of the death is appeared to be an accidental death and also an acute mix of both drugs and toxic which are heroin, cocaine, benzodiazepines and amphetamine. (47words) 2. The sides effect for heroin is that it will decrease the heart rates and also it will affect the person's breathing (Drugs and Inhalants, 2013). Cocaine will cause the person using it to have an aggressive behavior (Drugs and Inhalants, 2013). Amphetamine can cause the person using it to have an allergic reaction which depends as some people will have difficulty in breathing or there will be swelling on their lips, tongue or even on their face (Amphetamines side effect, n.d). benzodiazepines can cause the person to have depression (Short Term Effects, n.d). The two functions of a coroner are that the coroner needs to find out and confirm the identification of the deceased and also to keep track of a record of all death (Coroner Duties, n.d). Yes the coroner is an expert because all coroners have to go through medical training before they are able to get their license to be one and it is compulsory for everyone of them. The license for the coroners will all be certified and given by the government. (80words) 4. Philip Seymour Hoffman used to have an addiction in his past. There were more than 50 sachets of illegal heroin that was found at his apartment. When Philip Seymour Hoffman was found dead in his apartment, there was still a needle that was stuck in his arm. These are the evidence that is able to prove the coroner's verdict. (59 words ) 5. That gave me a clearer understanding of how he died was an accident that he may had an over dosage especially when there was a needle stuck up in his arm. For constructing an argument, I am able describe how he died, explain and also summarize how I came to the conclusion that it was an accidental death (Cottrell, 2011, p. 52). (115 words)
