Introduction
The time has flown by and the ending of this course has arrived. Over the past nine weeks I have enjoyed learning how to work and build a site in the Dreamweaver program. Even though only the basics were taught during this course, it is enough to get familiar with the program. For the final project in this course we are told to choose a website to evaluate so I have decided to choose a website that is similar to one I may in the near future want to build for myself and my products.
Site Reviewed
The website I have chosen to evaluate is named Digital Scrap Designs located at http://digitalscrapdesigns.com. The products they have for sale can be use in most projects, crafts, and hobbies. One example of how to use these digital graphics can be used is in scrapbook designs and this site has plenty to help enhance your photographs and make them fun.
Evaluation of Current Design
When first visiting the website Digital Scrap Designs visitors may see the simplicity in the style but still feel a little bit overwhelmed with all the products and links that are located on the home page. There are links provided on the left side for the artists who have their products on the site for sale. The page also provides any sales that are going on by the various artists at the time of the website visit. The home page is displaying several kits similar in nature, such as things you may find on a farm, things in a bakery, variety of digital papers styles, several Christmas, Halloween and Valentines Day digital graphics kits.
Pros
The owner of the site allows other creators to place their items on the site and sell them for a small percentage. It is a great way for creators to get traffic to their products that they may not otherwise ge...

Conclusion
Overall, I would have to say the website I have chosen to evaluate fullfills all it has intended to do. It does look professional and I believe most people would feel comfortable making their purchases from this site. However, the recommendations I made for this site will be those in which I take into consideration when I choose to make my own website.

In a second attempt to further expand the company horizons, an e-commerce site was created. This site is interesting because its main focus is not the clothing but the “lifestyle”. Upon entering the Abercrombie and Fitch website, the first thing the consumer sees is a half naked man, sprawled on the ground, eating a plate full of fruit. It is just to be inferred that he is wearing Abercrombie and Fitch clothing. This just shows how the image of Abercrombie is much more important than the clothing itself. The site itself is bright and summery. The attitude is carefree, active and sexy. Maneuvering ones way around this website is relatively easy. The links include Lifestyle, A&F TV, A&F Quarterly (the magazine/catalogue), Company, and Shop A&F. Other links include, music, movies, downloads, postcards, photos, and “hot” sites. The website seems to be almost completely focused on drawing the consumer into the lifestyle of Abercrombie and Fitch. The information the company gives is very limited. For example, throughout the entire website, there is not one mention of a company mission statement, yet there is a plethora of information about the company’s financial standings.

Whenever a creative idea crosses my mind, I begin the search for one of my many sketch books to capture my thought on paper. Several of my witty ideas end up on T-shirts that I sell on the website Redbubble.com. I’m flattered when asked to design posters, postcards and T-shirts for church events and school

Both sites need a lot of work. The website should have a pop up so customers can enter an email to get more information or discounts. They need to be more user friendly. They can offer different discounts and specials to win prizes. There needs to be more of a way that they can contact
The growth of online business has grown enormously over the years. Cliptomania is a family operated and owned small e-business that primarily sells clip on earrings (Brown, DeHayes, Hoffer, Martin, & Perkins, 2012, p. 308). Cliptomania early developments were very modest, and as such the company experienced copious strategic dilemmas. An initial strategic dilemma that the company encountered when establishing and building their new e-business undertaking was to create a website for the business operations and essentially to have it fully operable. The owners, Jim and Candy elected to hire a vendor to host the website and additionally utilize the IT systems resources of the vendor to sustain their business. At the very beginning they exploited the offerings of the Yahoo Store. However, continuing down this avenue of using the services of the Yahoo Store inevitably became too costly. By using the services and business offerings of a vendor made it convenient and effortless for Jim and Candy to start their e-business store. Unfortunately the couple did not have much in the way of professional help, and so they had to create and put together the website by themselves. Additionally they also had to deal with establishing their online credibility as many customers preferred to call in their orders just to talk with a real person before being comfortable enough to place their orders via the webpage.
5. The "Salty Dog" website... Capt. Doug told me that you really like it. I am curious to know what specific features, other than the color, that you like about that site. I could literally custom code your website to match it, but your content does not work well in that color scheme.
Finding an appropriate forum for your advertisement is probably the most important part of your setup. Usenet, a distributed bulletin board system that most Internet service providers and academic institutions make available to their users, is your best bet for reaching potential buyers. Usenet is divided into several hierarchies, or groups of bulletin boards (known individually as Blogs) that feature similar topics of discussion. For example, the alt.marketplace hierarchy contains the alt.marketplace, alt.marketplace.books, alt.marketplace.cassettes, and alt.marketplace.videotapes Blogs. However, when staging your sale you must choose the appropriate Blog. Posting daily sale updates to an off-topic Blog can get you flamed, mailbombed, or worse. Research your options thoroughly and well; read the news.answers Blog or set your web browser's URL to ftp://rtfm.
“The Cliptomania Web Store” is a case study which analyses the strategic challenges faced by the founders of www.Cliptomania.com. The Santos, Jim and Candy, developed the idea of selling clip on earrings when they discovered an underserved niche in the market place and subsequently established Cliptomania, LLC. When the Santo’s family started the company in 1999 they had little competition and managed to create a stable business with increased growth, despite the investment of little start up cost and a somewhat limited knowledge of the dot.com industry. Although recent profits have decreased significantly, Cliptomania has remained profitable and competitive in the market place.
Implementation for an online shopping site is fairly easy. Any reputable web designer could put together a user-friendly site that highlights Ann Taylor’s most collectible pieces. A well-designed website would not only attract the younger business women but it would increase customer loyalty by enabling ease of purchase and help expand their customer base through word-of-mouth. Today’s youth no longer look forward to all day shopping trips. They would rather stay home and shop online where their comfortable. It is the way the world these days.
The website that has been chosen to be evaluated by me is IKEA’s website. IKEA website is actually one of the profit-making website. The website enables people to choose for their items and make a list before they make a real purchase at the real IKEA store. Basically, IKEA store is a store that provides home furnishing products such as sofas, beds, kitchen stuff, toiletries and some others. And even more, they had a showroom to inspire people to decorate their own house. So, in the website, there is also a preview of the showroom as it will helps for those that did not get a chance to go to the IKEA store.
You will discover a few sites, from where you can scan and make your determinations for the buy of design gems. There are full scale pictures with points of interest of every thing that is accessible even with the value range.
Having a website is a necessity nowadays, especially for people who are in business. Having a website helps promote your company’s services, for consumers to view and research your products easily, and also because internet is universal, people worldwide could purchase your products. Aside from business purposes, a website could also be built for personal use. If you’re into blogging, you can have your own site to express everything you want or feel; a website could also be used to inform people.
