Dragon
Dragons are amazing creatures real or not. Do you know all there is to know about these weird beings? Have you ever wondered what kinds of dragons existed and how they worked?
There have been many said sightings of dragons. It’s even said that the Greeks and Sumerians have seen them; they described them as flying serpents. The world dragon came from the Greek word “daconta” which means to watch. That is probably why the Greeks thought dragons watched over treasure and why people tried killing dragon for their treasure. Another sighting, really more of a second hand story, was on April 19th. A newspaper stated that two cowboys shot down a dragon. What made this believable is that the way it was described, and it matched bones that were found before.
Another time a dragon like creature was mentioned was in the bible in Job chapter 41. “I will not fail to speak of leviathan’s limbs, its strength and its graceful form. Who can strip off its outer coat? Who can penetrate its double coat of armor? Who dares open the doors of its mouth, ringed about fearsome teeth? Its back has rows of shields tightly sealed together; each is so close to the next that no air can pass between. They are joined fast to one another; and cannot be parted. Its snorting throws out flashes of light; its eyes are like the rays of dawn. Flames stream from a boiling pot over burning reeds. Its breath sets coals ablaze, and flames dart from its mouth.” (NIV)
There is one more sighting or story that’s to my liking. talled Saint George and the Dragon. In the story it says that the king, George rode out on horseback to save his daughter who was to be brought among the dragon and killed as a sacrifice. He hit the dragon with his lance then asked his daughter...

In addition, the Boston Massacre which occurred in the 1770 further developed the tension between the colonists and the British since there were innocent people being killed. Then, the Boston Tea Party occurred and it was a turning point at that time because after that, the Revolutionary war between the Britain and the American colonists became inevitable. It was the first time the colonies decided to stand up for their independence and against the injustice of the Britain. Furthermore, the tension between them were too great to be resolved peacefully. And it triggered a chain of events after.

Dragons lie in the realm of fantasy; legendary creatures who are deeply rooted in magic and have captivated audiences for centuries. The depiction
It also happened because the tax was a political move of the Parliament to claim control over the colonies. In light of the concept of agitation, it is clear that the Tea Party was a form of protest because the agitators did not like how the Parliament reasserts control. Although no one was hurt in this midnight raid, it sure did create a tension on the part of the Parliament. The physical presence of those who joined the raid tried to challenge the Tea Act of 1773. Although wasting a lot of tea should not be made a big deal, tea during that time was expensive and it has become a symbol of comfort by the colonists because they loved it. As such, the Boston Tea Party is significant because it showed that American colonists are very much willing to speak their freedom and exercise the same. Also, they are very willing to give up anything so that their right for independence is attained. Clearly, this is a form of lateral deviance because the agitators are very much willing to work outside the Parliament and in fact, colonists are ready for war. According to the Boston Tea Party, the Boston Tea Party led to the American Revolution on April 19, 1775 in Massachusetts. Accordingly, the participants of the midnight raid were not punished but one person who was remained anonymous was stripped and punished devastatingly. Klein asserts that more than 92, 000 pounds of tea were
The Boston Tea Party led to the creation of the US and the revolutionary war. Before any taxes were put on tea, the colonists had to deal with the Quartering and Sugar Act. They didn’t like it since it included the British invading their homes and belongings. They were taxed on multiple things. The colonists decided it would be a good idea to just boycott British goods. It worked and both acts were taken away although this angered Parliament and they ended up getting another act.

Dragons represent human greed but amplify this sin tenfold as this is a monstrous creature whose only interest is in gathering gold and hoarding it. Before Christianity rebranded dragons simply as a manifestation of Satan, they were the ultimate embodiment of power, ferocity, and mystery.
Dragons are very popular mythical beings because they are capable of flying, swimming, and walking on land. This makes a Dragons attack much easier because he can exploit the weaknesses of his victims by using earth’s natural elements earth, air, fire, and water. Dragons have sharp teeth and a tongue shaped like an arrow. These creatures can breathe fire, but some cultures believed they spit ice or another venomous substance. All a dragons power is in its long, scaly tail.
The Boston Tea Party was an influential piece of American history. The Boston Tea Party gave the colonists the motivation to stand up for their rights and to ultimately risk their lives by going to war for their independence. It helped spark the American Revolution and eventually led to the Declaration of Independence. The Boston Tea Party is also important for its inspiration, not only to Americans but also to other rebels against injustice around the world.
What’s the first thing people think when they hear the word “dragon?” Most Americans and Europeans probably envision a huge scaly green beast, one that sits on a hoard of golden treasures and breathes fire. Asians are more likely to think of a benevolent snake-like creature, one that controls rains and rivers. And some people will think of the dragons in movies, or in books, which come in innumerable shapes, sizes, and dispositions. Practically every culture on Earth has dragons of some kind. The broadest way of categorizing dragons is into Western and Eastern dragons, though some of the dragons in the media have distinct characteristics as well. And then, of course, is the ultimate question: did they exist?
(blackdrago.com) “Dragon images have been found on the Ishtar Gate of Babylon, on scrolls from China, in Egyptian hieroglyphs and Ethiopian sketches, on the prows of Viking ships, in bas relief on Aztec temples, on cliffs above the Mississippi River and even on bones carved by Inuits in climates where no reptile could live.” (McNeil) Stories of dragons can be found all through history. Over five thousand years ago, ancient Sumerian cultures had dragon legends in their religions. Modernly, few still believe dragons exist, they can still be found in our movies, books and video
Another important part of Japanese mythology are dragons. Japanese dragon mythology is based from imported stories from Korea, India and China. Dragons are serpentine creatures with clawed feet; they have three claws on each foot. They are large and wingless. Most Japanese dragons are associated with bodies of water and rainfall. They are considered as water deities.

Throughout the old world, people had feared creatures with the body of a large lizard, snake-like eyes, large wings, and that can emit fire from their mouth. They was thought to be the embodiment of evil, greed, lust, violence, and the dark side of humanity. These mythical creatures are called dragons, but the dragon have a different reputation in the Eastern world. In China it was highly respected in the kingdom, a fairly common motif in eastern art for its heavenly related background.
As great as this movie is, “How to Train Your Dragon” still has room for improvement. Although there is a book which lists the entire dragon species in Berk, the movie really only shows a few common ones the Vikings fight and use for training the recruits. Also, there is only one Night Fury throughout the movie which sometimes makes one wonder if Toothless is the last of its species but for most part, “like the mythical dragons at the heart of this tale, this movie soars” (Sharkey, 2010).
