Vampires can be a figment of your imagination, but after seeing Dracula, you may be convinced that they could be real. I enjoyed the film, Dracula, because the plot was very thought provoking. The movie was not just blood and gory details, but action filled with good character development. I believe Dracula is one of the more intriguing and captivating films I have seen.
Jonathan Harker, who is a young London lawyer, travels to Transylvania to help Count Dracula purchase an estate in England. At first, Harker is very impressed by Dracula’s castle and his hospitality. However, in a few days, Harker realizes that there is a very dark side to the castle and Count Dracula. Upon Harker’s realization that he is in a dangerous situation, he escapes to a convent in Hungary. Meanwhile Harker’s fiancée, Mina, and her best friend, Lucy, are in England. Through journals and letters, the story unfolds about their love lives and the mysterious illness that Lucy develops.
