Theodor Seuss Geisel was born on march 2nd of 1904, in Springfield, Massachusetts. After service in the army during world war two, he went advertising. For a time, he was made on an editorial cartoonist for PM Newpaper in NYC.In 1958 founded Beginner Books Inc. Random House became a division in 1960 of educational and informational films for children.
