As a child I always dreamt of being able to do many different kinds of flips. When I would close my eyes I saw my future self running on the football field flipping over every defensive player that tried to tackle me. I would run into the in zone with some epic final flip for the touchdown and the crowd would go wild. Okay let's get back to reality here. Childhood dreams are often kicked to the curb and forgotten because “reality” isn’t that much fun. I never got the training or coaching that I wanted or as most people would believe, needed to successfully live my childhood dream. However, At eight years old, I learned to do a backflip on the trampoline. And I perfected it, to the point where I could do 30 back flips consecutively. I did my first backflip on the ground when I was only eleven years old. Fast forward one year and I got my double backflip on the trampoline. I have lived my childhood dream and continue to do so. This is something many people fail to do.
