Do School Uniforms Help Students?

Can anyone believe that school uniforms help students achieve good on their health and financial problems? Many people, schools, and even state governments have been in conflict over uniforms every since they went popular to the United States in the 1980s, even though they started way before that. Although many opponents might suggest that school uniforms bring improvements, there are too many drawbacks on a school uniform to show that they are nothing more than a bad idea for students everywhere.
School uniforms started as a beginning in the United Kingdom every since the medieval times around the 1500s. Now it is a common practice around the world for mostly a private school tradition. However, even some public schools use uniforms. “The tradition school uniform in the United Kingdom, however, is more formal. It consists of a tie and a white button-down shirt for a boy, a pleated skirt for a girl, and a blazer, suit jacket, with the school emblem (badge) for both. In the United Kingdom, nearly all school children wear a uniform” (Wilde 1). This represents the fact that the school uniforms can be so uncomfortable to student everywhere. As of today, all private schools make all of their students wear a school uniform. Hardly any public schools make these outfits as a needed element to go and be enrolled in the classes. This is normally for academies in the United States and Canada. However, now most countries, even if they are not a major power, use the original United Kingdom traditional school styles since they speak English. Although they use this tradition schools like the ones in Australia have a uniform but it does not have to be worn. Other ones that required a uniform are using less formal clothing rather than the Britis...

...cial burden to the poorer families. “For others, however, being forced to purchase specific clothing infringes upon their kids’ right to a free education” (Scheff 3). Not only that it would hurt freedom or poorer families, it is ridiculous to have to buy a uniform with the fact that adults will still have to buy their children some clothes for the weekends.
Overall, so much has proven that school uniforms are still debatable for many years to come. It’s just the fact that a judge in a court case will need to acknowledge the negatives on a school uniform. There are too few benefits that counteract how bad school uniforms can be if they are required in all schools. If they were required, principals everywhere would have to deal with more and more non-constructive problems that are associated with uniforms and other bad deals still not associated with these outfits.
