Walt Disney once said, “If you can dream it, you can do it,” and he absolutely lived up to that saying. This was proved through the numerous awards he received by chasing his dreams. According to “Walt Disney Biography,” Walt Disney was born on December 5, 1901 in Chicago, Illinois. Disney had three older brothers and one younger sister, and his parent’s names were Elias Disney and Flora Call Disney (“Walt Disney Biography”). As a child, his parents moved their family from Marceline, Missouri to Kansas City, Missouri and then back to Chicago (“Walt Disney Biography”).

His plans were to build another magic kingdom, Walt Disney World; however, Disney died not long after the start of the new park (“Walter Elias Disney”). Elizabeth Nix, author, wrote that Walt Disney was an habitual smoker and was diagnosed with lung cancer in November 1966. Disney died December 15, 1966 at the age of 65 (Nix). But once again, Disney’s death did not stop him from creating Walt Disney World. In honor of Walter Elias Disney, his brother, Roy made sure his plan to create another magical place, were completed (Nix). Thus Walt Disney World was created.
Walt Disney’s success and failures have since inspired many entrepreneurs not quit trying to accomplish their goals and even little kids. Entrepreneurs hold him on a high pedestal and look up to him, knowing that everything he created, the movements he started, and the lives he touched was achieved just by a mere 500 dollars (Jolley).
