With respect, nuclear medicine is a branch of medical imaging, which was formerly first discovered by Enrico Fermi in 1935. It is clearly an impressive accomplishment as it provides new methods to diagnose some hidden diseases in our body which is done by a much more safety way compared to some traditional methods. What is more, nuclear medicine is chiefly based on using a small amount of radiopharmaceutical on the patients, it then accumulates in the particular area for the upcoming imaging scan. The scans give out specific molecular information in order to identify the diseases and its seriousness, usually, the scans can effectively diagnose the diseases in early stages, that gives a chance for patients to adopt accurate therapy as early as it is possible. Additionally, nuclear medicine is less expensive and gives out precise information about the diseases and the patient's condition, for his reason, cardiac disease, pulmonary heart disease and bone disease are mainly treated by this method instead of surgery. Equally, there are limitations, but seems very trivial, that is, time-consuming. Overall, nuclear medicine illustrated the potential of using nuclear power on various aspects and its value to the modern world. Regarding to the nuclear weapons, they give people an impression of the ultimate destruction weapon because of its incomparable might to smite, the only use of nuclear weapons in the human history during the World War Two truly displayed its irreparable damage to us and, the lack of defense against nuclear weapons expose the vulnerable and fear side of human nature. With the uninterrupted advancing development of nuclear power since the breaks out of the Cold War, many countries had realized the potential of manufac... ... middle of paper ... ... as Mutually Assured Destruction shows human tend to perish together. Another advantage is nuclear tests had completed million times, therefore nuclear weapons are reliable as they are supported by tons of data. The disadvantages of nuclear weapons would be a long list, first, they are very costly that at least two hundreds million dollars each to produce which is a heavy financial burden to any countries. Secondly, once a nuclear missile land, it not only explode but also causing ionizing radiation poisoning, which might lead to cancer, future birth deformities and further health problems to human being, for the environment, the radiation would irradiate the area so that the ground cannot be used for many years. From the foregoing, it shows that even though deterrence might flawed, it is still one of the best way to counterpoise between nations and to prevents wars.
