Discipline or Violence “Train-up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (ESV-Bible, 2001) Without doubt, many who are parents today they never had the proper instruction on how to discipline their children, and this is because they were disciplined the wrong way, since much of the discipline that they received was applied many times by neglect and even the physical abuse, and giving this as a result that they want to apply what they received, although this was applied in the wrong way. This is where the true way of how to discipline children begin to take shape, and it is precisely in these days when there are a lot of resources available for those who want to use the real discipline away from compromising situations for both those the applied as well for those who receive it However, what it has to use first today in the application of discipline is wisdom, as this is what will taking to make a big difference between what is violence and what is discipline properly applied, and this will do is to lay a foundation and example for future generations to apply the discipline as the Bible says that: “For the moment all discipline seems painful rather than pleasant, but later it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness to those who have been trained by it.” Hebrews 12:11 (ESV-Bible, 2001) “First, and most basically, children are vulnerable beings. They are orphans, ‘neighbors,’ and strangers in need of compassion and justice; and therefore they need parents and other adults to protect them… (Bunge, 2008, p. 352)” This is precisely what parents today have to always keep in mind, and this in no way can be ignored because doing it will be creating situations in which those ultim... ... middle of paper ... ...t that causes be the example to those who are facing issues of discipline with their children. The world today needs no perfect people, but people who have had a real and personal encounter with the God of Glory. In no way parents should allow the enemies of the souls to take advantage in how they should discipline their children, as he is currently teach through rebellion, and especially when parents take the courage to teach principles that is written in word of God. The environment that pleases God, it will be created when parents will really love God and their children, “The devil claims the children (and even adults) whom nobody instructs in the way of the Lord, and he tosses them this way and that under his influence, like a toy on the waves, until his final goal in which they end up together with him in hell, far from God’s presence.” (Jambrek, 2009, p. 141)
