One of the leading problems in the world today is human trafficking. Annually, about 600,000-800,000 people are trafficked across international borders, mostly consisting of women and children. Although this is an issue worldwide, it is especially an important issue in South Africa. I have chosen this topic because many people are not aware of this issue. These everyday necessities would gradually be stripped from our everyday lives, if education in Kerala persists. Slowly, as the amount of coconut pickers in Kerala dwindle, our global economy will face a new danger; the inflation of all coconut-based goods, and saying farewell, to the fruity fun coconuts provide. Not only so, but Kerala’s society and culture would slowly deteriorate as well. It is undeniable that while education is beneficial to many, it can also lead to the downfall of a society’s culture and economy.
