Dietitian, an expert on diet and nutrition. Supervising meal prep, oversees meal serving, and planning food and nutrition programs are just a few things Dietitian’s do on a day to day bases depending on the environment they are working in. Dietitian’s may also be responsible for promoting healthy eating habits whether it be through educating their patients or conducting research. Depending on where a Dietitian is employed, they may also be responsible for managing over weight patients as well as patients with diabetes, renal care or severely ill patients. Places this type of Dietitians may work are outpatient’s offices, and hospitals. Dietitians also work in fitness centers, clinics, and long-term care facilities. Becoming a Dietitian takes hard work and years of education. A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in dietetics, food and nutrition or a field closely related is required. Although many may believe that working with career services in the first year of college is to early I beg to differ. It is never too soon to start building on your future career, jobs I hold now and skills I develop will assistant me greatly in the future. One of the ways Kaplan career service can assistant me is by helping me with my resume. I know I have some great work experience in the medical field but my resume does not convey my experience in the best way, it’s way too long and not properly formatted. Another way Kaplan career services can assistant me in obtaining my career goals is with interview preparation and mock interviews. Before and after a job interviews so I know what to say, what I want to say and I know all the right answers. The interview process isn’t easy for everyone and I’m one of those people.
