In today’s society the fast food restaurants are located on every turn. This is causing a concern in obesity which is leading to enormous risk factors. There are countless concerns of unhealthy living which leads to life threatening diseases, such as diabetes. Diabetes is a disease in your body that is unable to correctly use and store glucose. Every day when you eat, your body turns food into sugars or (glucose). After your body turns your foods into glucose your pancreas is supposed to release insulin. Insulin opens your cells and allows the glucose to enter which you to use the glucose for energy. But with diabetes, this system does not work. There are two major types of diabetes, Type I and Type II.
The two different types of diabetes are very different in many different ways. Type 1 diabetes is when the beta cells of the pancreas do not produce insulin because the body’s immune system has attacked and demolished them. In other words when your body makes does not make any or not enough insulin. Type 2 diabetes is most often associated with older age. Most of the time type two is associated with being overweight or obese, being physical inactivity and having a history of diabetes within your family. This is when your body cannot use the insulin your body creates.
There are many people in my family who have Diabetes. This certain person I interviewed currently has type two type of diabetes. Marlin is a sixty two year old man who has many other illnesses from fighting in many wars. He has had diabetes for about eleven years now. When he went into the hospital he went with symptoms of dry mouth, hunger and extreme fatigue.

...these changed include lifestyle changes and medicines. Some of the top things you can do to help prevent diabetes keeping your weight under control, exercising more, easting a healthier diet and not smoking.
Type 2 diabetes is a well-known disease which is a chronic illness when the body's insulin does not operate right. This is a very common disease that affects many Americans in the Unites States. Good news is that type two diabetes is largely preventable.
