In middle childhood, is where middle childhood and adolescences are increasing their cognitive development. During this time their brains are becoming more complex. They are starting to develop into the adolescence stage. Some examples of this would be their theory of mind becomes more refined and can present more details. Also, several memory strategies become known and becomes more organized. Not only does the brain change during this time a lot of other things may happen to your body. This can include body growth, puberty, motor development, emotional change, social change and relationship changes. But in order for all this to happen your brain is the most important part.

Adolescence is the period of changing between childhood to adulthood. In adolescences, brain development may include diverse cognitive skills. Diverse cognitive skills are improved processing all of the following; speed, attention, memory, planning, capacity to combine information and self regulation.
