Is your goal to destroy the world? To destroy the environment that is here on this pure and blue world? While at the same time saving money on gasoline? If it is then you’re in luck, because there just happens to be a hybrid vehicle at your local dealership, and these hybrid vehicles will destroy the world, devastate the environment, and all the while saving you some money on gasoline. Now how could these low CO2 emission hybrid vehicles be that catastrophic? Well what many don’t know about hybrid vehicle is that the raw materials such as lithium and nickel are needed to make the special specific part of a hybrid vehicle, and are obtain by a special technique that completely strips entire mountains of their peak, and it also destroys the entire eco-system that surrounds it. Many people believe in the idea that hybrid vehicle are more eco-friendly then most gasoline powered vehicle; however, I believe that this idea just isn’t true for most hybrid vehicle that are currently in use.
Some may say that since we are already mining these rare earth materials such as lithium and nickel for many common day items such as AA battery’s and everyday electronic device that it shouldn't be any worse than drilling for gasoline. However the demand for them are so great that a new method of mining has been developed to meet that demand, since the demand base on a piece called “”Hybrid Cars”: Not so Environmentally Friendly” by Colten Fortenbaugh states that the average hybrid vehicle requires 70lb's of these rare earth materials. Now nickel and lithium are raw materials that are found very closely to the surface of the earth and are in demand; therefore, they require a technique called strip mining, where they literally blow up entire mountains w...

...mistake Hybrid vehicle do produce less CO2 emission than gasoline vehicle, produces less noise then gasoline engine, and does in fact save you some money on gasoline; however, if one is buying a hybrid vehicle so that their consciousness may rest easier knowing they are helping to save the world, than I'm sorry to say that it just isn't true for the most part. As of right now Hybrid vehicle are mostly causing more harm than good to the earth than regular gasoline powered engine by producing a great amount of CO2 before they even reach the road, and the newer technology of hybrid vehicle are just a bogus front so that one would buy the vehicle, as well as hybrid vehicle not even performing good enough on the road to reach the break point of over taking the pollution that is produce while its being made, but hey saving money is a really big thing right now too I herd.
According to Cars Direct website, hybrid cars can reach 51 MPG wish destroy all gasoline and diesel efficiency expectations. This high efficiency yield to two main reasons: hybrid car tend to be lightweight, and the cooperating between the gasoline engine and the electric motor. ” According to consumer reports tests, most hybrid cars have better fuel economy than their gas-only counterparts “ (Barett, “The Difference Between Gas and Hybrid Vehicles”). This is obvious if we compare between a hybrid and gasoline cars which have the same name: the hybrid Honda civic average efficiency is 40 MPG while the standard Honda civic average efficiency is 29 MPG, the hybrid Hyundai sonata average efficiency is 33 MPG while the standard Hyundai sonata average efficiency is 27 MPG, and the hybrid Ford fusion average efficiency is 34 MPG while the standard Ford fusion average efficiency is 24 MPG (Barett) [average efficiency is the average between the car efficiency in city and its efficiency in highway
Many people spend unnecessary money refilling their cars with gasoline when not knowing the benefits of owning a hybrid vehicle. Owning a hybrid vehicle is a great way to save some extra money and get you from point A to point B.
The entire world contributes to the carbon emissions but there are ways we can use less gases to help decrease the amount we use. One way is carpooling. Carpooling can help decrease the amount of carbon emissions we make by having less cars on the road to make carbon emissions. Carpooling also saves you money. Other ways are using alternative fuel sources. Some alternative fuel sources are biodiesel, ethanol, hydrogen etc. There are also cars that use other things like electricity or less fuel. These can be cheaper than just petroleum and less harmful to the environment. “HEVs [hybrid electric vehicle] typically achieve better fuel economy and have lower fuel costs than similar conventional vehicles. For example, the 2016 Honda Civic Hybrid has an EPA combined city-and-highway fuel economy estimate of 45 miles per gallon, while the estimate for the conventional 2015 Civic (four cylinder, automatic) is 35 miles per gallon” afdc. In this day and age we are getting better at carbon emissions and fuel usage but we have a long way to go to achieve almost no carbon emissions, if that will ever
Gasoline powered cars are way cheaper than hybrid cars. First of all you save over ten thousand dollars. Yet gasoline cars are very bad for the environment. Gasoline powered cars release pollutant gases into the air such as carbon monoxide, nitrogen oxide, or unburned hydrocarbons. Pollutants like these can cause major impacts such as the greenhouse effect which cause climate change. Based on the information of the traditional fuel, your major alternative is the hybrid car. A hybrid is a system which uses two different types energy in order to power a mechanism. One common hybrid the combustion engine and the electric motor. Hybrid energy can also be used to power buildings, cars, or chargers. The energy in a hybrid is conserved in the battery. Yet the cost of a hybrid car varies but is more expensive than a traditional fuel
The first advantage is hybrid vehicles use less fuel than their petrol counterparts. This is because hybrids have an additional electric motor to help power the vehicle and reduce the strain on the engine, besides being able to shut down the...
I bet you didn 't know that the first cars made were all mostly electric. But as time passed gas powered cars became more popular through the years. There were few if any electric cars available as timed moved on. Everyone believed that gas powered vehicles were more convenient than the electric powered ones. I believe that gas powered vehicles are better because gas powered cars have more function ability. The range that electric vehicles have is poor compared to gas vehicles. Electric vehicles don 't function very well when the weather is cold. You 'll need to charge your car pretty much every night. You are only going to be able to go 80 mph. If you go up a big hill your range goes down. electric vehicles (rather ev 's) do pollute but they
Remember when gasoline vehicles were the newest trend, but now everyone is saying how hybrid vehicles are so much better for the environment than gasoline vehicles, but no one seems to know how they are better for the environment. Now the newest trend is going to be hybrid cars. Gas vehicles are not just going to up and vanish one day, they will always be available to buy. You may have to special order it, but they will still be available to buy in most name brand car manufactures.
Most American cars are not hybrids or fuel-efficient, they are usually big SUV’s or trucks that get eighteen to ten miles per gallon. Most of Hondas, Toyotas, and Hyundai’s get around 20 to 30 miles per gallon, and hybrids get 50 miles per gallon. Peoples demand fuel-efficient cars because oil is i...
Hybrid vehicles, which are environmentally friendly vehicles, which will replace fossil fueled car in the future but they currently have a limited range and long fueling time. As fossil fuel resources start to become limited and non-environmentally friendly, car manufacturers are looking to find ways to make hybrid vehicles the future of transportation. Hybrid vehicles are beneficial since they are efficient, reduce pollution, and cut global emission than the current hybrids models. As such, hybrid-electric vehicles can have substantial public benefits for both the environment and for energy security. Hybrid vehicles can help reduce smog pollution by ninety percent or more in comparison to the cleanest conventional vehicles today. Hybrids
Due to the constant rise in gas prices, Hybrid cars have become a hot item in today's economy. Although the Hybrid cars are more expensive than the conventional cars the rapid increase in gasoline prices will allow the consumer to make up the difference and save money by having to make fewer trips to the gas pump.
That makes for a price premium of just $700 for the hybrid which is EPA-rated at a combined (city/highway) 33 mpg compared with the combined 25 for the equivalent gasoline model. Even with gas prices hanging around $2 per gallon, this is one investment that is bound to pay off after several years.
In the last years the price of petrol has been getting even more higher. Hybrid cars allow the customers to save money in low regimes when the car uses the electric engine. It is the perfect solution for the city drivers.
Hybrid cars use both gas and electric. The gasoline engine is the primary source of power, while the electric motor is used at low speeds. Emissions levels are reduced because the gasoline engine shuts off at low speeds. An additional benefit of the parallel configuration is that no outside source of electric power is required because the engine itself generates the required electricity. A Hybrid Electric Vehicle known as HEV have several advantages over traditional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles: Regenerative braking capability, which helps minimize the energy lost when driving. Engine is sized to average load, not peak load, which reduces the weight of the engine. Fuel efficiency is greatly increased, while emissions are greatly decreased. HEVs can be operated using alternative fuels; therefore they need not be depended on fossil fuels (http://www.ott.doe.gov/hev/what.html#hev). Another great thing about these machines is the mpg; on the average, a hybrid car gets anywhere from 55-70mpg on the hwy. This is what makes the car all worth having. Now all this sounds good, but there are some issues that must be addressed.
An example of an efficient car that has been successful due to scientific engineering is the Toyota Prius. The worlds top selling hybrid car with cumulative global sales of over 3 million units by June 2013. The Toyota Prius’ tailpipe emissions (grams per kilometer CO2) is 82g/km. While another popular car such as the Toyota Land Cruiser’s tailpipe emissions is 214 g/km. This shows how after scientific innovations a hybrid car, that is electric and fuel powered car, has evolved into one of the most popular and has 132g/km less than the Toyota Land Cruiser.
Vehicles in this day and time are nothing like what they used to be. Over half of the car manufacturers are now trying to build new cars and trucks to be as fuel efficient as they can be. Although hybrids conserve more gas than standard vehicles do, they use gas, also. Hybrids do not use as much gas as the ol...
