Far across the sparkling blue lies a shimmer of silver. Rustles of waves blow sea breeze into my nose on the warm sand. I crinkle my toes deeper below feeling the warmth of each grain squeeze in between. The sun beats down sinking into my pores; soaking up the warmth. Back behind me I can hear children laugh as they run across the sand with their parents chasing right on their tails. The palm trees sway with the slight breeze and the rustle brings a feeling of peacefulness and relaxation. This is perfection; my dream vacation. On a small island off the coast of Puerto Vallarta is where I experience the breathtaking views around me. After so long I finally rise to my feet and begin walking along the beach. With each wave my feet squish in the newly watered sand and then back to touching nothing but dry. Every so often a seashell will appear and I’ll reach down to rub the sand clean and stare at the design. As I look out beyond the vast crystal blue water there are wale tales breaking the surface and throwing drips of water into the air. Movement of all sorts breaks the perfect glass...
When my family and I could feel the warm fine sand, the gentle cool breeze, witness the crystal clear aquamarine ocean and swaying palm trees, and smell the sweet fragrant scent of plumerias, we must have gone to heaven. The enchanting beauty of this Hawaiian island, Maui, gives us a sense of warmth, peace, and serenity. In search of paradise, we explore the infamous Road to Hana, snorkel with underwater marine life, and journey back in time to experience the true customs, traditional cuisine and the original song, music and dance of Hawaii at a luau.
First, Cancun has gorgeous hotels. The architecture of one representative hotel is fabulous. Walking into the entrance of the hotel is like walking through a breezeway because there are no doors. Upon entering, the visitor is mesmerized by the colossal tropical floral arrangement that’s so stunning and full of vibrant color that her mouth drops in awe. Soon, she realizes, after the initial shock, that she is walking on marble floors that look like mirrors reflecting rays of dancing light. Indoor waterfalls accompanied with lavish foliage engulf her; every sense is stimulated. Happily greeted and escorted to her hotel room, she is delighted to see that the hotel’s beauty continues throughout every part of it. Posh describes the room exactly. The bathroom floors, counters, and the shower walls are polished stone, native to Mexico. Surprised, she looks over the balcony to see the S-shaped pool with a floating bar and the bar’s roof covered in bamboo. Walking through the hotel lobby, through the fresh gardens, through the pathway to the pool are picture-perfect peacocks flaunting their beauty, and, indeed, they are very beautiful. Every minute detail of the Grand Hotel is designed to give her an unf...
When I stepped out of the hot, airless plane into the bright, dazzling sunlight beaming down across the burning concreate, I felt excited and nervous. Holding my beach bag in my hand and slipping my Ray Ban sunglasses on with my other, I flip-flopped down the airspace. Overhead I heard the screams of gulls and the chatter of the small fluffy birds. I suddenly realized I had arrived to Hawaii. This trip was such an unforgettable vacation for me because I got to witness the beauty of nature that Hawaii has to offer.
The first thing I heard was Virginia Beach vacation, and then in excitement I ran and got my stuff and started to pack. The part I was most excited about was that the hotel is a beachfront hotel room.I was so excited because I love the beach and I really wanted to go back to the beachfront hotel and stay there. I went there when I was in second grade. I have gotten to go there a few times since second grade, but I did not get to stay there overnight.
If you were forced to pick your paradise, where do you think your thoughts would take you? Would you go to the quaint wooden cabin in Michigan that has been in the family for years? Or would you think of your cozy apartment a top a skyscraper in your favorite concrete jungle? Without a second thought, my mind rushes to Pawley’s Island, South Carolina. As locals describe it best, the “elegantly shabby” beachside town 40 minutes from Charleston has been my chosen vacation spot since childhood. Between the hammock shops, crabbing in the creeks and ghost stories, there is always something to entertain you on the island. With only the best memories there, never did I think that there would be something to hold me back from indulging in the lazy beach bum lifestyle.
Imagine strolling along white sand beaches that hug azure shorelines as the morning light drapes itself across lush palm-covered mountains. Imagine spending the afternoon meandering the winding cobblestone streets of Old Vallarta, popping in and out of charming cafes and boutique stores. Evenings can be spent dining in one of scores of stellar restaurants, grabbing a nightcap at a local seaside bar, then walking home under a canopy of dazzling stars.
The sound of music, filling the air with happiness, resonates throughout the area. The scent of delicious buttery popcorn and glazed turkey legs that go on for miles and miles. The feeling of excitement coming into the place is felt in the atmosphere. It is the image of a once in a lifetime moment. When people come in, their imaginations become reality. The name describes itself perfectly. Walt Disney World is the place of dreams and imagination. People come from all around the world to see the rides, characters, food and the entertainment of Walt Disney World. I remember when I went to Disney World this past March. It was the third time I have gone to Disney World. To see the amazement and the expectation of the
It took little time to go there (the nearest beach is just in front of the hotel). We then ran to the beach passing through all the people that was already there. As we were getting closer to a vacant tend, we could smell the characteristic essence of beach (which is mainly because of the salty water). We contemplated the beautiful picture of the boats and windsurfers, with a big blue ocean in the background. Then we started eating some potatoes we had bought at the minimarket, which was located next to our hotel. We had also bought some sodas, which we drunk while we feed the seagulls near to us. After a long day having fun at the beach, we observed the beautiful sunset at 6pm. And finally, decided to come back to our
When I stepped foot onto Aruba’s beaches they were breathtaking. With its bright white sands and crystal clear water, it felt like I was in a postcard picture. The sands felt like walking on a cloud. The water was crystal, and the fishes were glistening from the sunlight. The weather is splendid. Each day was a cloudless 80+ degree weather. Aruba's known for their nice beaches for it is on most, if not all travel guides. You can see the whole island from the top of a lighthouse. The sunset is marvelous from that view. If you glance the horizon line from the beaches, you can see Venezuela. The sunrise was like orange, bubblegum, and blue raspberry sherbert. As I scanned the jewelry store, the gems were alluring. The restaurants come
Golden sunlight trickled into the master bedroom of their beachfront house. They’d just purchased it a month ago, but it already felt like home. It was not fancy, nor large – there was an upstairs and downstairs, two bedrooms, two bathrooms (“With room to add on!” their relator had chirped), but the wraparound deck on the upper-level and the incredible water views from the floor-to-ceiling windows had convinced Percival and Gwaine this was the place for them.
As the hot sun shined down on my white bare skin, the warm breeze made my blonde hair move with the wind, the crystal clear water relaxed my mind, the steaming hot white sand burned the bottom of my feet, and the place where I can relax and only see good in the world. This is the beach. My experience exploring Turks and Caicos opened my eyes to a world I did not know existed.
Many hours later we found ourselves in the beautiful, warm Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. We then made our way to the island of La Paz, where we would be staying for seven days, by boat. The hot sun beat down on our sunscreen- covered skin as the ocean’s waves gently rocked the boat. On the way we saw dolphins and many new and interesting creatures that I had never seen before. At this point I had taken it all in because I had never been to the ocean before this
Throughout someone’s life they will go to many places with their family, friends, another relatives. I have been on a few vacations that have made a lasting impact on my life. But one of the most memorable vacations I have experienced was with my cousins. I went to goa beach. Most of you probably don’t know about that beach but it is a very famous one in south India. I enjoyed myself to the fullest. The beach environment was enlightening. I would not have wanted to take this trip with anyone other than my cousins. We had a great time on the ocean sands and swimming in the ocean everyday made this vacation unforgettable.
My most memorable trip was the day I went to the Children 's Memorial Hospital to meet my baby brother. Meeting my brother was an indelible moment because I had never felt such happiness and love for someone. On our way there, I also got to create a bond with both my parents and learn how to be a better happier person. At the time I was sixteen years old and was going through a stage where I felt depressed and that’s why the day I arrived at the hospital to meet my brother I felt this warmth in my heart that made me feel happy again.
I am planning a trip to my dream destination, the United Kingdom! I have always dreamed of going to London and exploring all of the beautiful landscapes the country has to offer. On my voyage I will be accompanied by my boyfriend, Damian, and my younger sister, Taylor. Before we can begin our journey we have to do the proper research so our trip will be everything we want it to be.
